Works well, but as other reviewers have said, the marker pin is a little bit short. The problem seems to be the depth of the black plastic feet on the revers of the unit. This can easily be solved by removing the feet. They are held in and stuck to small plastic buttons/clips that go into holes in the unit. What I did was to discard the inner button/clip things and stuck the plastic feet back into the holes. All is now well and the pin works as it should (see photos). The middle photo is after the surgery and as you will see, the plastic foot is slightly lower profile than the right hand photo. The left hand photo shows the foot and the plastic button, mid operation.Other than that, it is a very nice little device that is useful for hanging most of the pictures around our house. How large a picture can you hang? It depends on the distance from the hanging wire to the top of the frame. With the device fully extended, the gap between the top of the unit and the lowest marker hole is roughly 21.5cm (8 in). For the twin holes it is around 18.5cm (7.25in).

Hanging pictures is straight forward and this makes it even easier. It especially helps when you need to hang multiple pictures in a row and they all have to sit at the same height. It would be nice if it came with more fixings though.

Had high hopes for this tool especially as I have a lot of pictures to hang; however it soon became obvious that it's not up to the job, primarily as the marker pin is too short and it's too fiddly to pull out from the recessed opening where it sits. Returned for a refund - it's also disappointing that multiple users have made similar comments but the design has stayed the same and the manufacturers do not appear to have paid any attention from this input.

Decorated 2 large rooms and needed to hang a lot of pictures, some that needed to be exactly in alignment.This tool is absolutely perfect, so easy to use and saves hours of messing about with tape measures, rulers and drilling / nailing in the wrong place.After I finished one room, wife commented it was perfect, just like an Art Gallery.Recommended it to a lot of mates

Used product for the first time,was a bit sceptical about it, was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to use, took all the hassle of measuring and trying to put marks up behind pictures, trying to keep everything at the same height, saved a few arguments which is always good.😁😁Well worth the money and having for future projects 👍👍

Watched the video of this several times and read the reviews carefully before opting to by this. Must say that it’s disappointing. Build quality is ok but, like another reviewer has pointed out, the pin used to mark the wall isn’t long enough to actually reach the wall! It says “no measuring” but that isn’t true because if you want to put up, say, three pictures side by side and you want the gaps between them to be equidistant then using this you are either eyeballing it - or you need to measure!The other problem with this device is that you have to hang pictures from it. So - if you want to place pictures high up the wall near the ceiling - you can’t use it. You also can’t use it if the dogtooth clasp on the frame itself is in any way recessed. For example - I had pictures that used frames about half an inch deep - but the back is recessed into the frame. No way of using this device as the whole back of the frame has to be flat.I have succeeded in putting up the mosaic of pictures on the wall but out of the 9 pictures I put up - I could only use this device to hang two of them. The rest was back to levels, tape measures and pencils.

Saw this on a Facebook advert and thought it would be worth a try. I’m quite OCD when it comes to hanging pictures and had several to do after having just redecorated 2 rooms. Very easy to use and it’s accurate and effective. Perfect when used with the double headed screws.
