Kool Seal 20-400-1 Aluminum Roof Coating

Perhaps my product was old but it was a bad experience. It's labeling did not match the advertisement and it was much thicker than I expected. I expected thick but this was closer to peanut butter. I wanted to thin it but it expressly says not to. Even after stirring it extensively with a paint stirrer on a 20V Dewalt drill it did not seem right so I poured it back up and stirred it even more to no avail. The first coat did not load well to my low nap roller but I was able to get it on. A couple of days later I applied the second coat. Possibly even worse or maybe the same and I was just angry by then. By halfway through my 14 ft trailer I was just pouring mounds of goo out of my paint tray and trying to spread them out with my roller. Now when I look at the cargo trailer roof I see lumpy dull grey where I expected to see smooth shiny silver to reflect the heat. At this point I don't know anything to do but just let it go and deal with the heat. At least it should be waterproof. When I was small we lived in a mobile home. My dad would apply Kool-Seal five gallons at a time to the roof every couple of years and it was nothing like this stuff.
