Clara Vulliamy Dotty Detective: 6 Book Collection

I love that this book set has finally shown my daughter the joy of reading! It's been really hard to find an age appropriate independent reading book that is a story line that she can really get into whilst being perfectly crafted for early readers . The sentences are broken up with lots of pictures and doodles. The chapters are short as it's written in diary form, so each day is a new chapter. This is the first time she's actively chosen to pick up a book and read more herself without me asking her to. She loves retelling the story so far to us at dinnertime. Great book set!

These came early always a bonus! For older confident independent readers these maybe less challenging but great fun stories nonetheless, the illustration pops and grabs the eye plenty of pictures of McClusky.
