Misleading
I brought these to cut tile at 4mm ( winckelmans ) as it stated it cuts upto 1/4 in. The gap is 4mm and therefore will not cut so please beware. They are however ok for anything over. Fully open gap is 12mm

Works perfect!
Great for those hidden cuts that won’t matter visually, to quickly nip the right size and keep trucking along on the tiling job.

Misleading description, for larger tile than listed
There might be an error in the description. Either that or I received the wrong item as the nipper’s gap is far too large to grip the size range listed let alone actually bite into. As another reviewer has stated - and I wish I had heeded - these would work for 1/4 inch (6mm) and above not “up to 1/4 inch” as listed in the description at the time I purchased the nippers.
