The scales are nice and legible

This is a great product; the ruler is a solid, stiff piece of metal that is very precisely and clearly marked. It can be bent slightly, but I wouldn't recommend bending it too much as it may stay bent.The seller is also great; my item arrived bent from shipping, and the seller responded promptly and replaced it with a straight ruler.

Loved this little ruler, wish I hadn't lost it. :-(

This small six inch machinist ruler came within the time the seller said it would. It has fantastic very fine detail in the etching especially in the sixty-fourths and hundredths of inches. The etching is very crisp and deep enough to not be warn off even with heavy use. There is really no need to provide a photo as the seller's photo provides plenty of detail. However even though this item claims to be tempered stainless steel I would not suggest bending it as it will stay bent. It is still very nice and will be very useful for many years to come.

I had no idea that scales (that is what my husband calls them) came so many different types of measurements. My husband kept looking for his scale that had been misplaced. I thought I would be nice and order one. SURPRISE!!! The measurements were not the same as the one he could not find. SURPRISE #2 - he was thrilled!!! He also needed an Engineering scale. Who knew?He is very picky about his tools. He did not make me send it back and that says a lot about this scale. He liked the easy to read dark marks that he thought would not wear off easily. He liked the flexibility (must be important) and quality.Hope that helps someone out there. ;oD
