My youngest son is required to carry a zip binder for school. The first one I purchased from a local box store was just not going to cut it. While it was a 2 inch binder with a zip pouch and a couple of folders included, it just did not have the space needed to carry seven classes worth of stuff. So I began my search and this little beauty came into my life. While the price was more that I wanted to pay, I would gladly pay it again. There is a front pocket on the case (the zipper at the top of the white part) that he uses to keep his id and small things in. Then there is the bigger zip pocket on the front (I really think this is my favorite feature). It is padded and contains some elastic parts to hold things in place. He uses this pocket to keep his markers, color pencils, scissors, and other bulky items in. It is perfect for them to stay in their boxes and be organized! This pocket could also carry a calculator, tablet, phone, etc and not have to worry too much about it being damaged. The main pocket has a mesh pocket on each side and the 3 ring part. Since I knew this would not be enough storage for him, I supplemented dividers with pockets and added an expandable pencil pouch. He has plenty of room now! He does wish it had a larger pocket on the outside (the back) that he could slide papers into when he is in a hurry - the other binder had a piece of canvas type thing that was attached with elastic not quite the full size of the binder. This also comes with a strap to carry over your shoulder, but he didn't want to use it. He prefers the carry handle on the side (which was one of his must haves for a binder). This is seriously great purchase. The materials seem to be sturdy and will last all year. If he needs a new one next year (more than likely because he would want a different color), I will be looking for this again!

I liked this binder. It works pretty well but I had one problem. Sometimes while carrying my binder through the halls by the handle it would get bumped into. Then when I would get to class and open it the rings would’ve come apart and a lot of my papers would’ve fallen out. So now I just carry it like a regular binder without the handle. Which does kinda defeat the purpose seeing as I bought so I could carry it by the handle. But it’s held up remarkably well and it’s a good binder other Ethan the ring thing. Lots of space but if you are going to but it for school the chrome books from a lot of the schools won’t fit with their cases on. But I would recommend it for you.

I absolutely LOVE this binder. I wanted a lighter binder with a handle that had a big enough size zippered pocket for my son's weekly library book. He lost 2 library books out of his old binder that just had an outside slip pocket. It's like it was built for him. His math workbook fits on an inside net pocket perfectly. The reason I gave it 4/5 stars is that the rings open from time to time. For us this isn't a problem because the only thing stored in the ring section is his spiral planner. However, if you had a bunch of loose pages stored, it could be a big pain. Also, it is spacious and therefor takes up more room in depth which means it takes more effort to get it into my son's backpack because of the style of backpack we have. If your backpack is a more wide opening backpack, won't be an issue. And honestly, there's no perfect solution short of the school changing the amount of stuff he's required to haul around. It also has a strap you can attach but my son doesn't want to use it. I just had to remind him when I gave it to him to keep the main zipper closed while carrying it.

These were required for my son’s school this year. It’s only been 9 weeks and the clasp that are used to attach the shoulder strap broke. The amount of items, paper and the required tablet, that he carries in it are not heavy enough to have caused this. They’re just cheap clasps.

This is such an amazing Binder, that will protect your students Chromebook!It has a special compartment for your Laptop or your students Chromebook.You can strap it in and drop your charger in with it and in the other compartment you can place your papers and writing utincels.It is great for anyone from Middle School to College. It would even be great for the Elementary student. This is an Awesome binder which, I would highly recommend to anyone who needs a binder and also has a Chromebook or Laptop.This would be an excellent gift for someone going off to college. It would really make their life to much easier and they will greatly appreciate it.My daughter's teachers loved it and was wanting to know where they could buy it!

Worth it, durable. My son used 8th grade and freshman year. My daughter is using it while we wait for hers. You know, she ends a different color. Plenty of space to store calculator, pencil bag, spiral, paper, folders, planner index cards, and more. Only con, too short for Mac book, which is 13.5x9". Purchased Aug 4, 2019.

I bought this product for my Fiance for her Spring semester, and this has become her favorite school bag.Now, the biggest problem with school supplies today is how long they last, or rather, how long until they fall apart. This binder has seen brutal treatment without a single misplaced thread and is probably one of the best value binders offered.This is what she carries daily.3 textbooks.4 Notebooks.Multiple pens and pencils.30 or so pages of notes and work.A small laptop plus it's charging cable.Her smartphone plus it's charging cable.Light snacks.A sketch pad.A large walletAnd enough room for a tablet.About 15 pounds or so of stuff and it has never failed, not even the strap.I highly recommend this product to anyone who needs a binder for either school or office use, you won't be disappointed.

La carpeta me gusto mucho , es bastante amplia y de materiales bastantes resistentes , el unico defecto que le veo es que no puedes guardar tu laptop a menos que sea una muy pequeña o una tablet

Follow up to my comments below…fyi no response from the manufacturer, big shock, and yesterday the strap which I barely used snapped and broke. So not awesome after two months.I bought this item as a means of eliminating a bulkier briefcase. From a perspective of carrying a small laptop and limited paper in the binder section, it works great. However buyer aware… And I personally think this is something the manufacture should be replacing on my behalf being I only bought it and received it two days ago and I’ve used it just once, the binder rings are absolute garbage. When I received the item, one of the rings was already separating from itself so that it doesn’t meet properly. I figured I could make it work anyway because the other two were fine, and I proceeded to use it yesterday. By the time I got home, I noticed that a second ring had separated as well, neither one of them can be made to fit together properly, and all of the paper I had put in had displaced itself. So I had to put it all back together again. Not impressed. In my opinion, the manufacturer should replace the item, and stand by their product. And being I only used it for one day and it would be tough to replace it with the packaging now torn off. When you spend this kind of money on a simple binder, the rings should be workable and they should be durable. These ones are absolutely not. If I don’t get some action directly from the manufacture, I will be returning it to Amazon for a replacement. Also, not near enough storage for pens and such, ie no pen holder, just a zippered compartment in the front and a couple of flaps inside.

Works as advertised; sadly, it lacks sufficient/appropriate holders for pens, memory sticks and other small items that just fall to the bottom of the compartments. Holder 'loops' would be helpful.
