How to install and get a better flush
While visiting my in-laws I was able to order the part and install it. Works better than the old handle that was missing because it slipped of the handle shaft. The new one snapped in place and stays put. A trick for easy removal of the old pivots is to use the new ones like wedges on the pivot on the handle side to release the water tray. You will of course have to turn the water off and remove the water line in the tank by undoing the two fittings on the line on the bottom of the toilet tank first. Then lift the handle side of the tray and tip it up out of the other pivot, Simple process, but there should have been some directions included showing how to do it.The flush is very marginal, the water level needs to be adjusted to the very top of the water tray for a proper flush. On ours the screw on the float adjustment was not enough. I bent the water line towards the handle side a bit which raised the float higher. That did the trick and the toilet actually flushes now, made a real difference. Otherwise my in-laws were going to replace the toilet. Had to set the water level to within an eight inch of the top edge of the tray.

PERFECT handle replacement part for the Pegasus (Niagara) water conserving toilet tank! SO EASY TO REPLACE! SO HAPPY!
Worked PERFECTLY to fix the Pegasus (Niagara) toilet tank (water conserving) handle issue.(picture attached)I can't believe I found the actual name of the tank that I inherited along with my home, for which the previous owners had installed a 'Kohler touch-less flush' system onto (which constantly got tangled up with this tank style and needed re-adjusting every 5th flush). I guess that was *their* solution to the broken handle problem. I, however, was lucky enough to stumble upon the picture (that I attached for anyone else that may be in the same bind as me)...that lead me to research "Pegausus toilets" which seemed to be just a brand name version sold by Home Depot of this Niagara line. So, I compared this drawing to what seemed to be the parts in the tank that were broken (the "outside the tank" end of the handle anchor part was stripped, so the handle was gone).Anyways, I feel like this was a complete stroke of luck that this was all able to be found and ended up being a 18.00 fix instead of a 180.00 dollar one, I wanted to share any information that may help someone else in the same situation, as it was quite frustrating.Hope all has the same luck as I did.

Got a Glacier Bay toilet with broken handle? This is what you need.
So I came to find out that the internal parts of Glacier Bay toilets aren't stocked by home depot even though it's a brand only they sell. The cheap plastic flush handle finally broke and I couldn't find a replacement kit. This is their low water gravity shelf internals. I found this parts listing on Amazon and sure enough it is the replacement kit I needed. There is no instructions but I did find a video for replacing the current parts and it's simple, luckily. The replacement handle is the same flimsy plastic and one will once day break again but hopefully will last the 10+ years the last one did. I do recommend this as a replacement but personally if I had to get a new toilet I would never buy another Glacier Bay toilet or product again. This is truly a case of you get what you pay for.

Don't let Home Depot tell you there is no fix!
A pleasant surprise since the Home Depot guys said there was no fix for a broken handle on that type of toilet. They said I would have to replace the whole toilet. The kit was easy to use (it loses a star for no instructions). Fair warning--the two clips are different. One clip is longer than the other for the handle to slip into. I had to do it twice because I didn't notice at first. (Tip 2: take the inner bowl out entirely. It's simple to put back and saves a lot of headache trying to get the old clips out.) Easy to replace and saved me a ton of money.

Works great!
The only problem I had was in removing the old pin from the toilet. You have to use needle nose pliers to remove the old pin. It might be easier on other toilets, but you need some strength to remove ours. It took me several attempts, but I figured out that I had to put all my muscle into it and not worry that it was going to snap. It worked! I couldn't get the handle off of the toilet, so I left it. It didn't need replacing anyway. Just the right side.
