french press filter

These seem as good as any original filters I've had in bodum or other cafetieres, and the fact they don't have a ferrule in the middle means they will fit on any spindle. It possibly makes them a bit less robust than the original equipment on some cafetieres but in my experience the middle isn't where they get grotty with use. With care, filters last a long time anyway and this pack will keep you going for years if you don't lose them :)

good delivery time, good quality good value for money

These seem to work just fine, though they might not be the best ones available; I hadn't appreciated when I ordered these that some filters have a metal ring around the central hole, and some don't. These don't. My guess is that the result will be that these won't last as long as filters that do. But then they don't cost much, you get six of them, and so far I've managed to only use one filter in the entire life of my press.

My cafetière is about 8 years old and for as long as i can remember i've had bits if gritty coffee at the bottom of my cup and I'd learned to accept this as part of the fresh coffee deal. However the edges on my existing filter were starting to fray so instead of a new cafetière i decided to see if i could replace just the mesh (my cafetière was about 40 quid so I didn't want to chuck it out). Obviously I don't need 18 of these things but since I had a surplus of them I decided to try it with two filters on. It's made a 100% difference - the plunger now has smooth resistance when i push it down and the coffee now has no bits of granule or grit at all - i can now drink the entire cup. It's like having a brand new cafetière only with two filters on I think it's actually better than when it was new. Awesome.

De la qualité, surtout pour la santé : tout en inox ou en verre. Du coup pas de problème de relargage de matière plastique dans le café.

Cuando llevas mucho tiempo usando la cafetera francesa deja de filtrar los posos tan bien y hay que cambiarlos.

Doesn't fit. Too big so makes gaps. What a waste
