Fantastic for replacing those old ball float valves.
This is really simple... This Korky product does what it is supposed to do... Flush the toilet. Easy to install and it works very well. I really love these for replacing those old big ball floats. This one has the float built in and out of the way. I have used several of these and they work fine. The instructions can seem a little complicated, but it isn't really hard to install. They just tried to cover so many circumstances that it can make them difficult to follow. I would show you a photo of the installation, but who wants to see my toilet?! Simpified installation....(my version) To install, turn off the water supply to the toilet. If it was installed correctly in the first place there should be an inline shutoff valve in the line going up to the toilet tank. Flush the toilet to remove most of the water from the tank. scoop out as much water as you can from the top of the tank using plastic cups, towels, or whatever you can dream up (the water in the tank is clean water, don't worry about getting your hands wet). Put a container to hold water (and a towel) under the tank by the fill line. Unscrew the existing fill valve from under the tank. Pull the old one out from the inside of the tank. Now you know what the towel and container is for... to catch the leftover water that drains out onto your floor when you remove the old stuff. It can also be used to catch drips from the fill line when the valve doesn't shut off completely. Install the new valve in the tank. First twist the stem counter-clockwise about a quarter turn an d pull it up. Put the new part into the tank from the top and put it into the hole where the old one came out. push the stem back down until the line around the plastic float section lines up with the top of the overflow tube in the tank (see photos in real manual). Twist the stem back the other way to lock it in place. Screw on the gasket ring from under the toilet onto the threads sticking out the bottom and hand tighten.. Screw back on the water line to the same piece. The unit comes with a small 1/4" ? black plastic tube. Plug it into the top of the unit where you see a small valve and a clear tube going into the unit. Find the metal clip piece in the package of parts and clip it to the top edge of the overflow tube. Bend the tube around to that clip and cut off the excess so that the tube gently curves around to the clip and plug it onto the clip. It will be tight. Turn water back on. While tank is refilling, dry off all parts under the toilet and look for any leaks and tighten a little if there are any. When tank if full, flush it. While flushing, the water in the toilet goes out and then starts to refill in the toilet bowl. If the water in the bowl reaches its usual height before the water in the tank shuts off, close the little valve in the overflow tube line of the Korky a little and flush again. You will notice the water that pours through the tube down the overflow tube gets slower when you turn the little valve. Try and adjust the valve so that the water in the bowl just comes up to it's normal fill level at the same time as the water shuts off in the tank. This in not critical. Some other types don't have that additional adjustment. That is it. You are through. Takes more time to write the steps down than to actually do it. By the way, the installation kit comes with a white clip you can insert to keep someone from twisting the thing and adjusting the height in the tank without removing the clip. You can adjust that thing when the water pressure is back on, but you better hold your hand down very firmly on the top of the thing to keep it from shooting up hard and quickly. Safer to install the clip if you have anybody who has a tendency to meddle with things inside toilets. There is another gismo in the kit that measures how far to turn that little valve for different brands of toilets. I don't see the need for that thing. Just adjust the valve until it the bowl fills just when the tank fills and shuts off. OK, that is it, you are done... clean up and go back to living your life! :)

Fixed water hammer in new toilet
After reading other comments, I bought this fill valve to fix a water hammer in a Toto Promenade II toilet we recently installed. This Korky valve WORKED PERFECTLY ... no more water hammer. If you can read and follow instructions, the valve is quite easy to install. The only tools I needed were a crescent wrench to loosen the twist nut on the old valve and a pair of scissors to cut the new fill tube to length. From start to finish it took me only about 30 minutes, including draining the toilet tank, taking out the old valve, prepping and installing the new valve, and wiping up a wee bit of water spillage. I highly recommend this valve!

Easy to install and is quiet.
Bought this to replace the valve of a 37 year old American Standard. Hard to believe it lasted this long. The old one had a float ball and took up the entire tank. The Korky replacement uses just one corner. It was super easy to install and adjust. There were parts left over because I didn't need them. Anyone that has run back to the box store to pick up a part or two because it wasn't included will appreciate that this came with additional parts you might need. Best of all, I didn't have to use any tools to install it. I wish I could say the same to remove the old one. What a mess that ended up being. The install was easy, honestly removing the old valve was the hardest part. The fill is much quieter than the old one. It doesn't have that annoying water "whine" when it is filling.Only issue I have, and it is a minor one, is it doesn't just fill to the proper level and shut off. It filled to within an inch of the proper level and then slowed to a trickle to finish. Maybe this is as designed, I don't know. There was plenty of water in the tank to flush again just that I had water trickling out of the valve for about 5 minutes until it was high enough to completely shut off. This is not really noticeable with the lid on and the usual bathroom accoutrements on top of the lid.In summary, I like this replacement valve and if I had another toilet that used this type I would buy again.

They work fine
We ordered two of these and then ordered a third. There was a mixup with delivery of the third one (USPS) and they said it went to a parcel box. I contacted the seller and he immediately told me he would contact USPS and if the order was not fulfilled would issue a refund. USPS must have located it because it arrived in our MAILBOX the next day. Our first order had been delivered with no issues. I was impressed with the seller's response and was glad it was easily straightened out. This product works fine in our bathrooms.

Works great. My worries were that in won't fit into tank with dual flush enclosure, which is a bit bulky. It was tight but worked out.

Fills quickly, got noiser after a few weeks
Installation was very quick and easy. Initially very quiet, but fill noise has increased a bit over the month or so since I installed the valves. Overall I would still recommend it - good performance for a reasonable price.
