If you can afford it, buy Mr. S
This is a nice set for what you pay. It's unabashedly a rip-off of the classic pup hoods from Mr. S and I've admittedly never had one of those so can't make a true comparison, but in the future if/when I need to replace this set I will most likely be buying from them or any other hand-made production. This was a gift for my boyfriend so I will review it based on what he told me, and what we experienced together:Hood: It had a VERY strong chemical smell when it first arrived and nearly two years later the smell is still faintly present (keep in mind we don't use it all that often, maybe once or twice a month if the feeling hits, otherwise I appreciate seeing his handsome face without any obstruction). The hood had some loose seams and some places where they had torn out altogether. The ears were nicely poseable. The snaps for removing the muzzle were a bit stiff for quite a while but have since become more easy to manage. The hood actually came with slight wrinkles in the fabric and they are much more pronounced after prolonged use. I'm not sure if this is a mark of this type of fabric in general, or of bad fabric.Harness: This didn't fit him at all. I mean, it did, but EXTREMELY loosely, and was not attractive. It also bore the same chemical smell and loose seams as the hood. We ended up losing this because it was so unused and unimportant to us that we failed to keep track of it during a move.Cuffs: Same smell. These have received less use than the hood and because of that still have a bit more smell than it. Initially (the first two or three times he wore them) he complained of a persistent itchiness that came from use. I'm unsure of whether he's simply adjusted to it or his sweat washed out the offending agent, but they've been fine lately. They are nicely elastic and have a good fit. Still loose seams present but generally there are no problems. This is not a bad set, but I cannot honestly and in good faith write a shining review of it. I know if a Mr. S set comes with loose seams or other signs of bad craftsmanship you can send it back and receive repairs or replacement. While you could probably send this back, it's not worth the international shipping to do so, and you still risk the chance of receiving a similar dud. Again, this is not a bad set. But if it is within your means to buy a professionally made one, I suggest you do so.

Should be perfect after I break it in
I was not sure what to expect, but for a puppy face, collar, harness, and armbands it was worth finding out… I’m SO glad I did. Now, full disclosure, this is my first experience with this… but I could not be happier. If I had to critique, I would make the eye holes bigger (more comfortable) make the ears more adjustable (I feel like I have to hold the base of the metal to try and make sure it doesn’t damage or tear the ears). The other thing is if you order anything with color, be prepared for the mismatched colors (photos of other reviews: I wold have loved purple but no thank you on the fashion faux pas)… but for the price you can’t go wrong. To be clear… the price I paid was about $19 US Dollars.I can’t wait to add it to the rest of my gear 😛🐾

It is great for the Price but the Hood was Defective
I love this but I am going to have to sewn the hood because it came out of the packaging with out being sewn completely in one ear and the lower chin. I am going to buy the other colors because for the cost it is a great buy!

Terrific set for curious new pups! Fantastic value!
Since there are a few variations available, this review is for the purple set with hood, collar, harness and two arm bands; I’m just gonna start by saying this set is a fantastic bang for your buck, especially for those curious about or new to pup play! I did not expect the quality to be a nearly as nice as as it is.As some reviewers have mentioned, there is a shade difference between the purple of the hood and harness and the collar/arm bands; that apparently applies to some of the other color sets as well. The hood is also available by itself of with other gear combinations, so don’t let fear of mismatched colors stop you. For me personally, it actually gave reason enough to add a self-wagging plug tail to my gear, even if it *is pink. :)The muzzle is removable, but the pup’s mouth is still accessible even with it snapped on (please see pink tongue in pic), so don’t worry about it interfering too much. The ears have bendable metal in them, so you can pose to your liking, and they hold really well. The harness is a simple pullover, with no adjustments, but mine is stretchy and comfortable, and I like it enough that I’ll wear it without the hood sometimes as well. The armbands are pretty simple, just neoprene with Velcro to size and close.I expected the collar to be a flimsy costume piece like so many ‘heart collars”, but I was very pleasantly surprised to find it sturdy with a solid leash ring, buckle & keeper.

Not bad for price
Ok so not a bad price especially for the quality, some things I like about it are that it actually held up to regular use, more durable than I was expecting. There was a strong chemical smell when first opened but goes away in about 36 hours, So let it sit before you use it. The muzzle was a little bent but I’m fine with that because it added some character to the hood. I did experience some itching (it went away after 10-15 mins) under my lower lip where the edge sits, so don’t wear it for longer than 2 hours at a time. It is a bit snug so if you don’t like that, order a size up if possible. It’s in no way as durable as a Mr. S hood but for someone on a budget it’s definitely worth the money. I tried ordering it once before but I messed up on the address, luckily Amazon was quick to notice and will be issuing a refund when it returns.

Way smaller than advertised!
This is a pretty good product for the price paid! There's some exposed fabric overlap and some rough stitching and some areas that have been pretty obviously glued together but it is also one tenth the price of one of the "good" brands so that's fair.Just be aware the advertised measurements are definitely not accurate! If you measure yourself and it looks like you need a medium, order the large. If you measure yourself and need a large you can try but you're going to feel scrunched and constricted the entire time. Overall, a good, cheap alternative for beginners or if you just want something for some throw-away play.
