Ab Roller Wheel RamCarver, Workout Equipment Training Abdominal and Upper Core Muscles

The price was very reasonable compared to similar alternatives. The knee pad is also a great addition, though I wish it was just slightly larger (probably twice the size). In regards to use and utility, the retraction mechanism offers great assistance. However, I find that it decreases how far back towards my knees I can return with each repetition. After 10 or so repetitions, I have to pick up the roller and release the tension from the spring and start over once again. Failure to do so, limits my range of movement as the retraction tension keeps me from returning to my original position overtime. Compared to other ab rollers, it is wider and the handles offer several grip options. The recommended placement of hands, however, puts a lot pressure on my wrists; a complaint noted by others that have used my product. I salvage this by rotating my wrist at a 45 or so degree downwards angle, placing the pressure and weight on my palms rather my wrists. Nevertheless, it is a great device and I have enjoyed my use of it.

Not quite the burn I was hoping for, but regardless has done great for my core and body....keep it closer to your lower abs when starting out, so you can do the full range...practice the breathing exercises of pilates and this should go further for you.

Wow. This is $12.99? This is a solid piece of exercise equipment that will last a very long time. It works fantastically. At first I thought I was too strong to have a spring action helping me return the roller. Now I realize that the spring action is very helpful because of the difficulty of the exercise. Really gets the abdominals and other upper body muscles. I would pay double for this and be equally happy. Major thumbs up.

ok,,i tried it for a while,,i was happy at first,,but as i used it more i can't get full extension,,i'm 6ft 2" so i get to a point then it "stops",,,so i do like it,,,but it can only go so far, its well made, strong and it maintains my weight,,i have had other wheel and they eventually break due to plastic posts,,this one is metal and is strong,,i will continue to use it in my routine,,realizing i can only extend so far...

I like it....the spring is a little tight, but it does what it's supposed to..

Ordered the ab roller after using it in the gym(felt the after burn of my abs)and after seeing positive reviews, I know I won't be disappointed!!!!

I have never gotten the kind of workout with conventional ab exercises like I do with the ramcarver ab roller.
