Bought to add this to my duty belt. Easy to install. Like the locking mechanism so that it is secured on my duty belt. Hold baton securely.

Attaches securely to duty belt. Baton is easy to draw and replace.

I needed this for work in a correctional setting, with me utilizing a MOLLE vest. It functions fine, but there are some drawbacks to this holder vs our issued holder.- It DOES NOT freely swivel! There is a hex screw to loosen to set the angle you want it to always be at. But you have to tighten the screw very tight to hold it in place at that angle. (it does come with a tool to do this)- The MOLLE clips need to be a little longer to fit onto 2 rows. I can 'bunch up' my vest and achieve this, but another half inch or so would have been long enough. But it needs it to hold the holder tightly to your vest, otherwise, there is a lot of play and flopping around when you walk and it is especially awkward while trying to draw it. This also makes it protrude out from your body at a weird angle in front of you all the time.-The retention - As you can see in the pic in the description, the upper almost half of the holder adjusts to a smaller diameter to retain the baton. The tightness seems like it will suffice. The thumb screw for it is easily workable. I feel like this would be better served as being a smaller diameter to start with, with just a strong spring to let it stretch just enough to keep it tight.-Closed bottom - The bottom is not open so you can not put the baton in it if it is expanded (our issued one does have this feature.)There is a sliding mechanism that is used to adjust for different sized belts.The snaps that hold the bottom of each clip closed are a good tight hold. These are activated by a button on the bottom to unsnap them. That button slides to lock in place to prevent it from pressing accidentally.It is very solid and well made. The construction seems good.The not being able to actually swivel freely is the biggest thing for me here. There are some situations where I like my baton straight up and down. Other times I like it to be angled more forward if I need it. So keep your own needs in mind here.

A nice holster, but does not feel very sturdy though. It does not rotate which is a disappointment, while moving it on your duty belt. You would have to take the allen wrench to move the holster position each time which is annoying

I love this baton holder and pouch.Great quality and very functional. I can carry it vertical or horizontally along my belt line so it never shows below the shirt.Their competitor on Amazon that has 1 1/8" diameter does not fit. You can't put it in the holder, or take it out of you force it in.Great product, highly recommend.SignedA happy customer
