For the Family's Sake: The Value of Home in Everyone's Life

Words on the pages are great, but the book came with broken binding and the pages are falling out already.

One of my all time favorite books on practical Christian living. I love the way Susan paints a beautiful and practical vision for what home-life can look like in today's world. She is very realistic in acknowledging that not everyone's life circumstances are the same and therefore we will not fit in a cookie cutter mold. She expects there to be lots of diversity in application while still holding to the foundational truths and needs of individual people. This book was/is very influential to me....before I was married as a single women and now 11 years married with five children.

A wonderful book! So much valuable advice on how to make a house a home. We are just beginning our journey into a more Charlotte Mason style homeschool atmosphere and this book is helping us with that.

A must read for young mothers. I have re-read my copy through the years. This book is one I give along with baby shower gifts.

This is a fantastic book that as a stay at home mother and wife..I truly enjoyed! :) Nowadays, many people are rushing here and there and always *busy*...this book helps you to see why being at home is important. The moments we create in the home will be treasured for years...we need to make each moment count! :) I completely recommend this book and think you will enjoy it just as much as I did! :)

This is one of the most enjoyable books I know of on family living. It is a down-to-earth, joyful book that is wholesome and practical. I hope it finds a very wide audience!
