After buying new rugs for the living, dining and utility rooms, I had to treat them with Scotchgard! That's the only way I'll have peace of mind about folks and kitty cats tramping through my house. The Scotchgard goes on easy, just shoot and spray. It'll need to be redone in six months or so, but it's worth it to protect the rugs and help them last longer. I even put this on the two draft stoppers for the front door and kitchen. Because they sit on the floor, I thought it best to Scotchgard the draft stoppers and help them look good longer. I've always scotchgarded new rugs and am convinced it works to resist moisture and stains.Now I'm looking for fabric scotchgard to put on my two new chairs and ottoman in the living room!

The product/protection is good but it did not spray well. Maybe an old can? Ordered via Amazon and used within a few days of receipt.

I actually use this on my new furniture and I did three coats of it because I have pets and a toddler in my house and it works amazing. My dog got clay mud on my beige couch and I grabbed a washcloth and some dawn and it came right off. Unfortunately,I didn't take it before a picture because I didn't plan on writing a review.

This works great on my new area rug and it doesn’t have a strong smell.

Didn’t spray like it should. I’ve used lots of Scotch Guard over the years and generally been happy but this one seemed like a dud.

I spray this on shoes, backpacks, rugs, furniture and anything fabric. It’s amazing! If anything spills like a liquid then it just beads up. I hope they never discontinue this product. It has no smell, applies easily and very effective.
