I don't normally write reviews, but this time - I'm going to.I have a small home audio studio and am a sound engineer for small local live bands and needed to multi-track record live audio from the band on stage which engineer from an off stage location and the audio interface was USB.This USB 2.0 extender works absolutely flawlessly with no install required and coped perfectly with 24 tracks of audio with zero latency over 20m cat5e cable.Am really happy with this item and can recommend highly.

After a slew of poor USB extenders, this is the first one that works flawlessly over a 30m CAT6 extension from one side of my house to the other. Its certainly pricier, but worth the money. The fact its powered at the receiving end does allow it to support multiple ports as well.The cheap £10-20 versions just aren't reliable.

I bought the USB extender which worked solidly with a 50 metre CAT5E cable - great! But within a month the box failed and has now been returned.

I’m using this over about 20 metres of cat5e which a join in the cat5e as it was extended (the join is made of cat5 ends and a coupler) and it works like magic! Love it!

It delivered what it promises.

Item arrived quickly. Using this to extend a touchscreen lcd monitor, keyboard and mouse. One spare port for a usb stick. Works perfectly over 100’. Usb transfer speeds via memory stick are not stellar but it works for everything I plugged into it flawlessly. This item is paired with a 4 port kvm switch and the ports do switch from pc to pc without any problem.

Ich habe mir diese USB Verlängerung gekauft, da ich eine zuverlässige und weite Verbindung zu meinem Drucker aufbauen wollte. Ich habe zwar einen Wlan Drucker, doch dieser funktioniert nicht so wie man es gerne hätte. Ständig muss ich das Wlan vom Drucker neu konfigurieren und etliche Optionen am Computer ändern.Da ich ansonsten mit der Druckqualität sehr zufrieden bin, und über ein Kabel immer alles tadellos funktioniert, wollte ich mir keinen neuen Drucker kaufen.Ich habe dazu diese USB Verlängerung gekauft. Man verbindet die beiden Kästchen einfach mit einem Netzwerkkabel. Ein Netzwerkkabel hat dein Vorteil, das es sehr dünn und flexibel ist. Dadurch konnte ich es wunderbar in meinem Haus verlegen. Einfach an der Decke entlang.Die Verbindung ist super stabil und schnell. Auch wenn ich mal einen USB Stick oder ein Telefon verbunden habe, funktioniert alles genau wie es soll.Bin total zufrieden und kann nun endlich problemlos drucken!

I purchased a few of these. We had a small issue with pixelization on a couple of the units; however AV Access sent me replacement units for both of them. The units perform there purpose for audio/video. There are NOT compatible with the remote frequencies for Bell Canada Sat receivers. The remote frequencies used by bell (echostar mfg receivers 6400,9400,6131) all have frequencies above the design of the IR blaster on these units. I would have given 5 stars if this portion of the functionality worked.

This product worked for very short cable lengths (3' and 6') but when attempting to work with a longer cable length (50') it stopped working. Ended up returning it since if I needed a 3' extension, a normal 3' USB extension cable will work (I needed a 50' extension).

Well priced. Excellent build quality--sturdy powder coated chassis and threaded power connector a big plus.Pushed it beyond the 50m spec and it still worked a charm with a Logitech HD webcam.Highly recommended.

I've tried a handful of USB extenders and this one has been by far the most stable over a 150ft run. I tried it with both Cat5e and Cat6, both worked equally well.

Extends USB connection to a long distance as mentioned.
