Bargain price (£349) for a brilliant TV
My previous TV, a TCL 43DP628 43-Inch 4K is a great TV and it only cost £250 on amazon with 5 monthly payments plan. The only problem with it is there are only 2 HDMI inputs and a 3rd was needed. Although I used a switcher to use my 3 devices to connect the tv the wiring was a bit messy and the cables made it difficult to tidy etc. So as this Hisense TV has 3 HDMI inputs plus a lot more apps etc than the TCL. I decided to buy this model after doing some research. As this is a 50" it fits better when watching videos etc and has impressive pin sharp picture quality with several picture settings to choose from. It will upscale lower resolution formats too. Freeview compatible satellite input including a terrestrial TV aerial input. The menu is quite comprehensive and the audio section allows for different devices along with Bluetooth. There is a host of apps that come with this TV including; Netflix, amazon Prime video, YouTube, even Alexa, but you need to register with amazon and have a echo device too. The remote feels quite cheap and is quite noisy when using the central remote control pad. Has 8 dedicated buttons included and is quite easy to use overall. The TV feels and looks well designed and made with 3 HDMI inputs, headphone output that doesn't work even when selected in the menu? There are 2 ethernet connections and a usb port along with an optical audio output as well. The TV has a thin narrow bezel surrounding the main screen that fades into the background and is barley noticeable. There's the usual wall mount bracket holes and feet, but they are polarised as such and will only fit into their dedicated slot.Overall this is a excellent TV with more than enough options to satisfy even the most dedicated TV addicts. Recommend 100% for the price.

Great TV and value for money
This TV is great value for your money. I have owned at least 4 Hisense Smart TV,s now and they have all been great. I recently purchased the 55inch and I was a bit dubious after reading so many bad reviews. However, as I had purchased a few of this brand in the past (43 inch versions) I was confident in taking a punt on this one as it was at such a marvellous price. I have owned this TV now for about 6 weeks and it is the best TV I have ever owned. The set up was simple and it looks great. The only negative would be setting up Alexa, I tried for about 30 mins before I threw in the towel on that option. Overall, I would highly recommend this TV based on my own experience.

Only issue is the remote
I love the TV itself, it has great features, netflix, prime, etc. And has even more than expected like Red Bull TV and quite a few others! The picture quality is just as expected, the sound is pretty good too. The only issue is the remote has stopped working after just a couple weeks. It let's me turn it on but that's all. No volume change, no changing channel, not even turning the TV off. Slightly disheartening but once I figure out if it's the TV or the remote and I know what to do, all will be hunky dorey.

Solid value for money
From the outset, lets me say that this is not a premium product. However, the quality and functionality does make it stand out in its price bracket. This was bought to replace an LG TV which cost twice as much and failed in a little under two years. Connectivity was an issue with it needing to be used for Xbox, Wii and wireless screen casting from phones and PC which is why I focused on this unit (be aware that you may need to buy an adapter for the Wii as this TV it does not have the individual 3 pin connectivity required - these are easy to pick up if you search Amazon; mine came with a short HDMI cable and I can confirm that the Wii to HDMI solution works perfectly). The stand provided is just about sufficient, although I bought a heavier iso mount stand to stop our cats from knocking it over. The remote is a decent size and has enough dedicated buttons on it to make it useful. Wireless connectivity has been very stable, important for Amazon, Netflix and Ratokan etc., although Disney will need to be set up through other apps.Sound isn't great, but for the price, compromises happen, I actually use a sound stage which connects perfectly to the TV which does allow to adjustment of audio sync should you need it.Screen, I have only used it with HD and standard resolutions and my general experience has been quite positive. Colour saturation is a little bland for me in default, but using the adjustment capabilities is now set to my richer preference in colour.Only issue I have is with the auto-contrast balancing which in principle appears to be a good idea, however, the obvious change in tone to make it easier to see what is happening when the subject is either dark or light (the adjustment highlighting contrast to counter the se changes) does get very annoying, especially at night and even though I have tried on numerous occasions to turn off in setting, keeps turning back on.In conclusion, is this a premium product - No. Would I recommend it based on price, quality and functionality - Yes
