JBL Quantum ONE - Over-Ear Performance Gaming Headset with Active Noise Cancelling (Wired) - Black

Anc doesn't work unless you are using the usb connector, so no on the go active noise cancellation. Headset is also quite fragile. Mine has broken in several places after 9 months. Sound quality is fine, but not incredible

I brought these a few days ago and have been using them for 2 hours, I found that the sound was very tinny and not very nice to listen to. The directional audio was perfect and amazing but other then that everyone that was speaking seemed to be very compressed like the audio out of a gaming headset mic. However the build quality was amazing and the anc was alright. The major let down was the sound quality for the product, the sounds were very unbalanced between footsteps and people talking in game especially in a game like fiveM where you have to be able to hear people clearly. I could hear the game clearly but not what other players were saying unless they were right next to me and even then it was so muffled.I would say avoid these jbl quantum products and go for something that isn't the first gaming specific headset from the company. Good features but not the quality you expect from a product at this price point.Returned after 3 hours.

I oirginally bought the Quantum One in 2021 direct from JBL, but I have had to replace them four times. After about 11 months, the headset itself has issues, the mute button on the side of the headset stops working, and you can no longer use it to mute your mic.So I replaced the originally purchased headset to rectify the issue. The second headset developped the same issue after about 8 months of use. So another replacement was issued. The third headset arrived, worked and then after about 13 months, the microphone stopped working for no reason, just would not work, and to JBL's credit they replaced the entire headset. So now I am on my fourth one.The forth headsets mute fuction stopped working, but I just dealt with it and cracked on. But a few weeks ago, the audio dial stopped working, my volume would jump from chat to game (application) audio.So I went through the process of doing a warrenty, but this time and understandible JBL did not honour the warrenty of the new headset as due to the original 2021 purchase.After asking my friend group, I was reccomended a compettitors headset, and I feel they are much better and the softwear is also better in how it lets you flick between audio from chat applications like Discord to games, music and any other application that uses sound. I am purposfully not naming the other brand, as this is not a slander post. This is a post just to warn people of the issues with this particular headset.
