It weighs considerably more than 1 lb. The container holds 60 fluid ounces. 32 fl. oz. = 1 qt. : 1.06 qt. = 1 L : So 60 fl oz. = 1.77 L. If the density was the same as water it would weigh 1.77 kg, which equals 3.9 lbs. Since the density of the sauce is considerably greater than the density of water, it must weigh more. Suppose the density was 1.4 g/mL instead of the density of water (1.0 g/mL), the weight would be 5.5 lb.

Q: How do these taste compare to kikoman soy sauce?

This soy sauce is thicker and much more flavorful than kikoman. I personally don't like the aftertaste that sometimes comes with the kikoman soy sauce that I get in the restaurants.

Q: Would this be a good substitue for Koon Thin soy sauce?

No it doesn't, not even i will think to buy it again
