Hi, used the hose for first time today and it gets hot. Should it?

As the air-con unit is pumping hot air out of the room and, hopefully, providing respite from the extreme heat, I would expect the hose to be a tad on the warm side..

How do I fit it to the exhaust of my air con. It's missing the plastic end terminating ring that the original hose comes with, it seems to be glued on

I can only answer for my air conditioner (Tamoko 9000). The end pieces simply screw off the hose supplied with the machine and can then be screwed on to the new one.

is this suitable for a allair 12000 btu unit?

if you're hose connector has a anti-clockwise thread ,it should fit the air conditioner

I have a Delonghi Penguini. Is that clockwise or anticlockwise?

Check your existing hose. You should find you need to screw anticlockwise to fit the hose to the various fittings supplied.

Excellent quality. Almost the same quality as is provided with the Delonghi Pinguino EL98. Fits this model with anticlockwise adapter to extend the exhaust pipe.

Third time ordering this product. Lasts 1-2 years, as the plastic sets in the sun and becomes brittle and cracks when you then move it to pack it away for the winter. Guess many would do the same.
