Great coffee, I remember when my wife first brought it back from Texas for me and then I would have to wait for her to go up there again to bring me more, now I can order it thru Amazon anytime I need it, the smell is awesome and it’s really good coffee.

Great coffee!
I always stock up on HEB's Cafe Ole Texas Pecan when visiting Texas and was disheartened when I discovered that HEB does not offer online ordering. Amazon to the rescue again! While I really like this flavor, my personal taste drives me to use it sparingly in an espresso machine combining it with unflavored beans. I found that doing so gives just a hint of the Texas Pecan flavor. It's a little costlier than what you would pay for if you bought it in the store, but reasonably priced for those who do not have that option.

H. E. B. and Texas Pecan coffee -- some of the Lone Star State's best coffee!
Excellent, robust flavor, with lots of 'oils' which is probably because of the roasting and/or 'blending' process which would surely involve pecans and their natural nut-oils. I live out-of-state, so I order the whole-bean coffee and use my hand grinder to prepare each cup separately. One thing you may notice if you order whole-bean flavored coffees -- because of the extra flavorings and oils, the paper filter you use (assuming you use the 'pour-over' method instead of French Press) may start to restrict the freer flow of coffee into the cup. In other words, the 'pores' of the filter paper will start to become slightly clogged up. If so, just stroke the grounds in the basket gently and kind of mix it up a bit. Even with a fairly fine "Melitta"-style grind, it will eventually all pour through. Enjoy!

Amazing
Brace yourself, weary traveler of the bean. Because once your lips touch the molten majesty that is Texas Pecan Coffee, your life will never—I repeat—NEVER be the same. From the moment you tear open the bag, a wave of toasted pecan perfume punches you in the nose like a cowboy in a saloon brawl. It’s not just an aroma—it’s a wild, untamed symphony of sweet, nutty glory that smells like a pecan pie fell in love with a thunderstorm and gave birth to ambrosia. If you aren’t already weeping tears of joy, check your pulse. One sip and you’re transported. Not to a café. Not to a kitchen. No, no. You are standing in the heart of Texas, under a crimson sky, as a bald eagle wearing a ten-gallon hat serenades you with Willie Nelson tunes. The flavor? It’s as if a pecan tree was blessed by the caffeine gods and decided to bear fruit in the form of liquid gold. Smooth, rich, and roasted with the kind of care you usually reserve for newborn babies and brisket. This isn’t coffee. This is heritage in a cup. This is Texas in liquid form. This is the answer to every existential crisis you’ve ever had at 7 AM. Forget other coffees. Throw your Colombian, your Sumatran, your overpriced urban oat milk latte into the abyss. They are children compared to this pecan-powered juggernaut. If you haven’t tried Texas Pecan Coffee, are you even alive?
