Mornings with Saint Thérèse

I read St. Teresa's autobiography and wanted more. I love this daily devotional. It not only has her writings but those of her biological and soul sisters. It is so not saintly as one would think it might be. It is honest and I have to say I would like to have met St. Teresa - she must have been quite someone to experience. Love this and her.

I have a particular devotion to St. Thérèse of Lisieux instilled in me by my dear godmother. This little book is meant for daily reading with very short one or two page chapters. Written at various stages of her life, these snippets of wisdom from "the greatest saint of modern times" give a glimpse of the mindset of Thérèse's simple but ardent love for Christ. It reveals her human frailties and her humility, enabling the reader to easily relate to her. I haven't finished it yet as I am reading it as a daily devotional. I would recommend this book.

Mostly excerpts from her personal life and writing which give insight into her spiritual journey. Insight that is nourishment for anyone’s spiritual life.

Shes lovely and daily I read her

This is a great way to learn about St. Therese of Lisieux ... reading her very words!! The book is set up in "bite size pieces" so that I can read a page a day, or more if I want. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to look into the mind of a saint!

St. Theresa is truly one of the greatest saints of our time. Her love of God which started when she was only 3 sustained her short life of only 24 years. Everything she did in her life was for the love of God. You must read this book to understand how truly spiritually perfect she was.
