T-H Marine G-Force Eliminator Trolling Motor Prop Nut, MinnKota 80, 101 and 112

Does what it says it will do! I have an Ultrex and it has been producing mild vibrations at various speeds. Being that the Ultrex is new, I didn't think that the prop needed balancing. I thought I'd try this out, but reading some of the bad reviews I had concerns. Install was easy, and the results were immediate - it work great - which is a testament to this product, but no so much for Minn Kota, who for nearly $2500, should have provided it with their product. Anyway, good work TH Marine. One last thing to mention: there are several reviews that state that it doesn't work. I'm only guessing here, but this product will not likely fix vibrations produced from damaged props. It might help.

Edit—after taking my boat to the shop to have power poles installed they informed me I had a wiring issue from the manufacturer that was causing the corrosion. The product preformed great, already ordered a new one. Received my item and it was very easy to install. After getting off the water for the first time I realized white stuff all over the prop nut, it had eaten through the paint on the prop nut... very unhappy with my purchase, I will be purchasing a different brand prop nut.

Nice product that seems to be well made and of high quality however I feel the price is too expensive and doesn't match the intended use, cost vs function. It's simple marketing, creating a need and providing a solution. The product does not come with any instructions and while no instructions are really necessary one question does remain as to whether or not to use the original trolling motor stock washer. The proper installation method is: The original washer that came with your trolling motor prop is NOT used with the TH Marine prop nut. Since the TH Marine prop nut is easy to remove it makes changing out the trolling motor prop a snap but that convenience comes with risk, it will also be quick and easy for someone to steal the TH Marine prop nut and the trolling motor prop too. Otherwise the potential to donate the TH Marine prop nut to the lake of your choice will be another risk to consider if changing out a damaged trolling motor prop over open water.

I bought this to make prop removal quicker and easier on the water and that's exactly what it does. My Terrova wasn't noisy but did have a slight vibration and this item definitely reduces vibration. However, I bought this as an open box item which made the decision easy. Definitely has advantages over the OEM lock nut. Worth the money to me.

My Minn Kota Ulterra Bow-Mount Trolling Motor 80lb was making a loud humming noise in the 3rd speed. I tried everything to fix the problem then I read others had the same issue so I tried the G-Force Eliminator prop and the noise went away. Thanks the noise was annoying.

Worked like a charm!!!! Cleared up an annoying vibration on my terrova and looks good doing it. I really had my doubts but not anymore. If after using it you still have a vibration take the prop off, turn it 180 degrees and reinstall

This is probably the easiest install you’ll make on your trolling motor! I like it for the ease of checking your trolling motor prop shaft at the end of a day where you’ve spent most of it driving thru the weeds while fishing….

I read many reviews before purchasing this product and the consensus I got is some people find it does not help with vibration or volume of the trolling motor and others say it makes a huge difference. I think it all comes down to how in tune you are with sound and or vibration. Those that indicate they do not notice a difference either got really lucky and had a very quiet trolling motor to begin with or they are simply not in tune with that sort of thing. Being a musician and sound man I am very in tune with sound and or vibrations. When I installed and used this item for the first time the difference was extremely noticeable. If I had to rate it on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the quietest I would rate it a 10/10. And a 6/10 before the product was installed. I can barley hear the trolling motor running compared to before. The physics of why it works make complete sense. Supporting the prop over a large area vs a washer over a very small area. I highly recommend this product.

All the vibration is gone over speed 5 and up It’s a good looking product that works !!

Product fit my Minnkota Ulterra perfectly what a game changer, battery's last longer vibration free and deadly quiet it's a must !!
