I rarely write reviews, but this product is definitely worth a review and the 5 stars given. My scalp psoriasis was getting really bad and my whole scalp was affected. I had tried all sorts of products - all the usual over the counter shampoo readily available in UK pharmacies/supermarkets as well as various Tea Tree based preparations, and whilst some worked when the condition was mild, nothing was affecting this bad flare up - until I tried this product.Regarding application. Be warned - it will sting when you apply it, but that means it is reaching the affected areas. You actually only need a small amount of the product - no more than a teaspoon/nail scoop of the product. Put it in the palm of one hand and add a little water so that it becomes a loose paste, then rub between your two hands and apply to your hair/scalp as you would normally. The salt granules will quickly disolve. Massage well into the scalp and leave for a few mins (I apply at the start of my shower and rinse out at the end). As I say, it will sting, but you are literally rubbing salt into a wound/sore, but this will help keep the wound clean of bacteria helping prevent infection. Rinse out well - and boy does it feel soothing when you do. Your hair may actually feel squeaky clean.Initially, start using every other day, but after a week or two, you should see improvements and only need to use once a week as a 'maintenance' application.It also has a pleasant, mild scent. Definitely give this product a try.

Love the smell and feeling. If put in your hair roo long skin gets a bit reddish but maybe that's a good thing when starting. Now I use it once a week and it keeps the dandruff under control. Best shampoo for me.

Very thick and does not turn soapy. I wash my hair with this then my normal shampoo. Hair feels so nice after. Its not improved my scalp massively but still good

Heard a lot of good reviews about sea salt shampoo so I thought I would give it a go. Apparently, its a must try latest hair product which claims it adds volume and bounce while detoxifying the scalp. I have fine grey hair, and after I first used the shampoo I was impressed with the result. Having used it a few times already I can feel the increasing of my hair volume and love the smooth texture. Definitely a good buy.

Irrated my sensitive scalp and gave me a rash. Shame

I have an irritated scalp and this product seems to promise to help. I'm not convinced. It's really hard to get the product to spread and especially to get it through my thick hair onto my scalp. I can't say I see or feel a difference really. (I have a big head of long, curly and frizzy hair, itchy sores on my scalp and some flakiness.)
