I purchased the pepper spray wand that this refill is designed for back in 2007 and I needed to replace my expired pepper spray insert. I never had any problems with my first insert, but this one leaks. One day this small spot near my lip was burning and I realized that i had a small orange smudge on my finger. I took a look at my pepper spray and there was this small orange puddle near the pinhole. I don't know if the product was defective or if it somehow got activated through mishandling, but I'm hesitant to replace it with another pepper spray canister of this brand.
