I never write reviews -- if the product does what you want, then that is why you bought it, right? In this case, I am writing to say I was phenomenally impressed with this item. Everywhere I looked, Black Suede Chelsea Boots were at least $128 for decent quality and construction. This pair was only $38, so I figured if it was half as good as the other reviews, it was a decent price for the product. Fact is, the product is as good if not better than the reviews.First - look of the boot is exactly as pictured. Stylish; clean construction and even suede throughout. Second, fit was dead on. I wear a 10 and this boot fit perfectly. Slightly tight in the toe, but I expect that to flex with wear. Also, the shoe is extraordinarily cushioned. I felt a slight height difference when I put them on and they were comfortable and pleasant to walk in. If these hold up for wear over the next few months, I will be buying more pairs in other colors. If you have any doubts about buying -- pull the trigger -- you won't be disappointed.

I bought these boots for looks and to just wear around. I've had them for almost 2 years now, I've come to rely on them for just about everything. I do tree work and logging, I happened to wear these boots while working one day and I was extremely impressed. I decided to start wearing them while on the ground and they held up amazingly. I know they're not designed to kick 40lb logs around but they take it with no complaints. Comfortable and durable as anything I could ever ask for especially at this price. I know most people aren't going to be abusing these shoes as I did but if you're looking for something that'll last, this is it.

Very nice shoe, looks great. Runs a little small I reccomend a half of a size larger than your regular size.

Just got these boots today. I was pleasantly surprised by the style and fit. I wear a size 11 tennis shoe, but I ordered these in a 10.5 (as I do all leather boots and dress shoes) and they are a SMIDGE snug, which I prefer as they will eventually stretch and then fit perfectly. As of right now this is just an initial review based on first appearance and fit and I got what I expected and hoped for. After a few months of regular wear I will update this review to give a better idea of longevity and fit.

These shoes are stunning. The dark grey color I picked out will look great with any of the clothes I own. I marked them down 2 stars because the first pair I got were very tight and the second time I tried to pull them on the finger loop at the heel of the right shoe broke. That meant I had to arrange to return them and I ordered another pair one size larger.The second pair is just as attractive as the first pair, however they are a little too loose. I think putting a gel insole in them should make them just about right.The first pair is on its way to Amazon, and I look forward to wearing these really good looking boots.Good Customer Service makes up for a lot of the frustrations of shopping by mail.JAC

I initially bought one pair since I was a bit hesitant to buy a cheap boot but WOW! These boots DO NOT look or feel cheap whatsoever. Great quality and fit great, I've ordered 2 more pairs. True to size
