It fits and holds up.
Direct fit for C&C 420. Although the inner diameter appears threaded, it slipped right on. After two filter cleanings - it has held its shape and has not collapsed or corroded.

This is a pentair part and will outlast those cheaper ones , had some of those aftermarket ones they are junk get this one

Poor quality
I ordered two of these bleeder screens based on the reviews and cost. After eight weeks of operation I opened my filter to find that the bleeder screen had came apart into two pieces. When I tried to install the second bleeder screen I noticed it wouldn’t fit, that’s when I saw it was already starting to separate.

Fit and worked as designed!
Bought this to replace my old filter cap in my pool filter system. The cap fit as expected. Will definitely buy this product again. Fast shipping was also a plus as it wasn't available at our local pool stores.
