Borghese Fango Active Mud Soap for Face and Body, 11.5 oz

Mode de Vie Seamud soap WAS the 10 year must have soap for me...the Holy Grail of soaps...but when it fell off the face of the planet a couple of years ago I was forced to search out other alternatives. I have tried 7 brands and Borghese Fango Active Mud soap is my top favorite. DOES WONDERS for the skin and now cannot live without. Fab at removing every stitch of makeup from your gorgeous face and deep cleansing toxins out of your all-over-body skin when bathing. It truly keeps my skin looking fresh, taut and AGELESS. No more blemishes, rosacea, upper arm bumps, or fine line and wrinkles with this product. Truly miraculous, but then again isn't nature's deep cleansing mud always going to be better than a man-made concoction found on a drugstore or beauty store shelf. PROS: Love the jumbo size bar. 3x the size of regular size soap, therefore lasting a very long time. BONUS! CONS: Only complaint is the unisex targeted fragrance. Would prefer LUXURY fragrance like the brand name would allude to...at least add a slight, rich cologne scent to it...PPPPLEEEASE. Does not smell of mud. Something else strange is in it that makes me scrunch my nose up while in the shower, but if u can ignore that and use a body spray of your preference post shower like I do, the results are TOTALLY worth it. Oh and I have ordered this more than once and it is brown, not green, like in photo. Hope my review helps you out. Thx. May 2013 UPDATE: I just cannot bring myself to buy this anymore because the scent is so unbearable. Truly awful, awful, awful. Yuck. Trying various Dead Sea Mud soaps again from Amazon, but they are all 3 oz - 5 oz bars. So disappointed. Borghese, please fix this.

I use this soap for my face everyday. I highly recommend this product. It is a big soap, so it will last a long time. Also, I use other products from the same brand, and the quality is great -- specially the mud mask. It smells fabulous, and I can feel my face so smoth and clear.

I have such sensitive skin and I break out so easily. I bought a set of Borghese on Shop HQ and got this bar along with the mud and other things. I have used Mary Kay cleansing bar for YEARS and it was just not doing it for me anymore. I was skeptical about a bar that could be used on the face and body, but this is so good for my acne! Everything bothers my skin and this helps me! If I have a break out, I wash my fash with this and the next day its clearing up. Just a note, this is drying though, so if you have normal or dry skin, daily use may be too much for this. I use other face cleansers on the off day that I don't use this. I love it though and bought another bar here so I could have it all the time. The bar is HUGE too. The only thing I wish is that it had a little dish like my Mary Kay wash did.

When you first start using this soap, it will be hard to get you out of the shower, then you start to reap the benefits.

I ordered 2 bars of this soap using my Amazon Prime membership. One was supposed to be for my Mother as a part of her Mother's Day gift. The soap that arrived was the Crema Extraordinaire. It wasn't the mud soap. The 2 bars shipped separately. Amazon happily returned my money for the one bar, but by the time the second bar arrived, I just kept it rather than having the hassle of calling to explain the problem AGAIN, and having to repackage the soap and send it back AGAIN.

This is a great product, while I love the smell and benefits. I gave it 4 stars because while I appreciate getting alot for my money, the bar is so large I have trouble holding it in the shower, a welcome inconvenience
