I Have Waited Over 40 Years But It Was Worth The Wait!
I saw this album in the cut out bin oft a Woolworth's department store when I was in the 7th grade. Even though the price had been reduced, I was not able to afford the album. I had fallen in love with the sweet harmonies and smooth instrumentation after hearing this song played in heavy rotation on our local A-M radio station. (WAAA) I was attending Anderson High School in the 7th grade. My mind was blown when 3 girls (Robbie Brown/Yvette Binns,& Cynthia Belcher sang "I Love You For All Seasons" in the school talent show that year! I have loved this song since then, and was always hoping for a chance to hear the entire album. Over 40 years later I have finally heard the entire album. The spoken word sequences before each song was something rare in those days. I dare say that this may have been one of the first girl group concept albums. Love Unlimited's debut album was similar I will have to research which came first. The tracks "Like An Open door" & Leave It all Behind Me" along with their version of The Miracles "Ooh Baby Baby" are noteworthy. Over all I am pleased with this collection and would have loved to hear more from The Fuzz before they disbanded. We used to have our own neighborhood talent shows and sing to the instrumental version of " l love you For All Seasons" on the flip side of the vocal version! Yes it has been over 40 years but it was worth the wait.

The Fuzz: A Very Pleasant Surprise!
I love Girl Groups and I loved the song, "I Love You For All Seasons", so I decided to buy the album. It is a great album. I can't believe they only recorded one album because they were so talented. No one can touch The Supremes but The Fuzz is right up there with Love Unlimited, The Three Degrees and The Emotions!

All 3 1971 Hits And Their B-sides By The All-Female Trio "The Fuzz"
This is a quality CD reproduction of the eponymous 1971 LP “The Fuzz” (Calla SC-2001) by the Washington, D.C-based and short-lived female R&B vocal trio encompassing Sheila Young (born August 16, 1951), Barbara Gilliam (born August 16, 1952 and also known as Roberta Gilliam), and Val Williams (born March 26, 1952) containing: 1. I Think I Got The Making Of A True Love Affair (prelude); 2. I Think I Got The Making Of A True Love Affair (2 :31); 3. I'm So Glad (prelude); 4. I'm So Glad (2 :47); 5. All About Love (prelude); 6. All About Love (2 :57); 7. It's All Over (prelude); 8. It's All Over (3 :36); 9. Like An Open Door (2 :27); 10. Search Your Mind (3 :08); 11. Leave It All Behind Me (2 :59); 12. Ooh Baby Baby (5 :39); 13. I Love You For All Seasons (3 :02); 14. I Love You For All Seasons (instrumental version) (3 :07).They probably came along a bit too late to be included in the select group falling within the highly-collectible category known as "the Girl Group Sound," although I imagine there are those who would find room for them. Recording for Nate McCalla's small New York City-based Calla Records, in existence from 1965 to 1977, they managed to put three titles onto the national R&B charts, all in 1971 and each of which crossed over to the Billboard Pop Hot 100.Their first was their best as the Sheila Young-penned I Love You For All Seasons rose to # 10 R&B and # 21 Hot 100 in Feb-March 1971 as Calla 174 b/w an instrumental rendition of the same song by the Calla house band. Young also wrote both sides of their follow-up Like An Open Door, which again did well at # 14 on the R&B charts in July, but could only manage a # 77 Hot 100 as Calla 177 b/w Leave It All Behind Me. Their third and last entry, each written by Young in conjunction with Joe Tate who arranged all their sides, was the October 1971 # 35 R&B/# 95 Hot 100 I'm So Glad which came out as Calla 179 b/w All About Love. They disbanded after the early 1972 failed release Do Just What You Can (3:20) b/w Mr. Heartaches And Miss Tears (3:06) as Calla 183, and while it would have been nice if the distributor, Fever Dream, had included both as “bonus” tracks, that’s a minor quibble as you do get all 6 sides of their 3 charting singles, with excellent sound reproduction. Liner notes, however, are minimal.

An album long overdue for a digital remastering
In reading the reviews on here there isn't much left to say that has not already been well articulated by this group's intrepid fanbase. This release would be perfect if they included their final release Do Just What You Can b/w Mister Heartaches and Miss Tears (Calla 183). I rate it 5 stars nonetheless.
