Torklift A7504 Glow Step - 4-Step

I replaced the 3 tread steps on my fifth whee with this step unit. I had to figure out how to mount it as the included directions only show how to mount to a truck camper. I used aluminum angle and stainless hardware. Original steps: 1. 3 step, 9 inch height; awkward and difficult. 2.Did not rest on ground; was like a diving board, rocked whole trailer in use. 3.Black painted steel construction; subject to rust, hard to see in dim light, required lubrication and eventual repainting. 4, no handrail, just one hand grip; not safe for 62 yr old owners. 5. Not adjustable to different terrain. New steps: 1. 4 step , 6 inch height; much easier and safer feeling. 2. landing foot rests on ground; does not rock in use, 3. Aluminum and stainless steel construction; no painting or lubrication ever needed, silver color easy to see and judge footing. 4. Hand rail available, separate purchase (waiting for arrival). 5. some adjustment available to different terrains. Separate landing gear available(Next purchase.) Much easier for dog to use than OE equipment( pet guard available.) Construction is optimal, not most economical. Lifetime warranty. Shipping was fast. Great Product ! Highly recommended, especially for full timers.

The steps are fine but the one of the pins that hold the steps to the mounting bracket was missing. I had to go find replacement parts at the local hardware store. I had to replace it with bolts and locking nuts because the pin that was actually in the box had a cotter pin that was too big and it kept wanting to fall out, which is probably how the other pin went missing. Just sad how expensive these step are and they can't even ship all the parts.

Pretty nice. Strapped this to our old 1994 truck camper. The steps are very sturdy but kind of hard to unfold. I suppose I could loose the screws a bit.

This is a quality product, easy to order, excellent specification guide for selection and installation was very simply ~35minutes. Follow the instructions or follow the suppliers video on-line, pretty straight forward. Sure makes getting in and out of the camper a lot easier than having a portable step stool, which can be an issue at times. The TORK LIFT is plenty robust and has plenty of adjustability to overcome that issue. The reflective tape on the steps with machined ridges (superior to the diamond plate or abrasive non slip stripes steps) another big plus for sure footing, especially in the dark. Strongly recommend to purchase Can't go wrong on this product, probably designed and manufactured by a Machinist who loves the outdoors!

Could not figure out how to install. Sure didn't seem like "bolt right on out of the box" to me.

These steps are very sturdy and stable. Makes getting in and out of the camper so easy. Even my 75 year old mother felt safe getting in and out. My dog even liked them. I love the glow spots, for those nights you forget your flashlight. They were easy to install. I did have to buy longer bolts for my camper. I would recommend these steps to anyone.
