Looks good and ideal for purpose
I cannot comment personally for the phone as it was ordered for an elderly relative. I thought it looked good and with it being bright red it would be easy to find for someone with poor sight. I asked the person I ordered it for what he thought and he said he was very pleased with it. Easy to set up and he loved the large buttons that were easy to see and use. He was especially pleased with the price and the fact that he got a £5 reduction as a promotion. Also the phone arrived within 2 or 3 days so cannot fault anything about this.

Excellent basic 'phone.
My wife was admitted to hospital recently and, due to the Covid restrictions, I was unable to visit her. This prompted me to purchase an inexpensive phone for her to use so that we could stay in touch. The Artphone is the perfect answer. It is well made, beautifully finished and simple to set up and use. I own an iphone and never use it's email and internet capabilities when away from home and yet it still needs charging every day. Yes, i've purchased another Artphone for myself, it's so small and light that it just slips into a pocket and the battery just lasts and lasts for ages. Both phones are on GiffGaff and all calls between the two are completely free of charge so it's a win win situation.Highly recommended.

good phone but
good little sturdy phone good value, easy to use A & B buttons useful for easy contacts, talking numbers great - display easily read. can answerer without opening phone some good simple stuff . The SOS is a let down horrible siren when pressed - On occasions when in trouble you don't want the wrong people turning up. I suppose its good it may ward someone off but its was annoying when pressing A for a simple pre set contact the same as the SOS contact producing aloud siren noise. disabled the SOS. so on balance .Would I buy again probably. With only the siren sounding on SOS would be good.

Easy to use for the more mature adult!
Can’t comment on the battery life as only just started using it. Wasn’t quite sure how many sims to use and the ease of putting them in is a bit fiddly - only using one sim. It is an ideal mobile for my 91 year old Mum who isn’t very technical and gets very frustrated when things don’t work. Once we put her most used numbers in and showed her how easy it is to dial she soon got the hang of it. Large numbers to press so you don’t hit the wrong buttons. SOS is an absolute must have as she still drives and she can pop it in her handbag knowing that if there’s a problem her phone is at hand and she can read the names easily. Well thought of. Would highly recommend

Has always been difficult to charge and now it's close to useless
Using the phone is easy enough, but ever since buying it's been difficult to charge. The charger doesn't seem to stay in the phone (we have tried multiple different charging cables, it's always the same) and now the battery is barely holding the charge at all. It's a real problem as it's a phone we bought for my mum in a care home and she is not able to plug it in herself. We charge it every time we visit - every day - and she does not actually even use the phone that much, but even with her light usage, the phone does not have enough charge to last until the next day. It's very disappointing and I wouldn't be recommending anyone to buy this phone.Sure, it's cheap, but we bought it because we thought it would be good in our situation, and it hasn't been.

Just the job if you just want a mobile to make and receive calls and texts.
As I'm getting on in years I find this phone ideal for my needs. I can use it without my reading glasses, it can link to my car entertainment centre for hands-free use, it has a torch that is simple to turn on and off. It has a basic camera, FM radio, voice recorder, alarm, calculator, calender, magnifier etc. I haven't set up the "SOS" button - I carry it in my trouser pocket and worry that it could "pocket dial" out - but it could be useful for some people. The battery seems to last about a week with light use and charging is easy. There is a limited choice of ring tones but it "rings" good and loud. Overall, I'm very pleased with it so far.

Easy to use
Bought this for my mum. The big buttons are fine for her and not to many gadgets to complicate her. There is no memory in it unless you buy that extra and the camera is just a waste of time as the quality is very poor.

If you want a phone, not a computer, maybe look at this
OK I did not need a computer - gaming, data stuff, tiktok is another world - I just wanted to make phone calls and send the occasional texts, an alarm clock and a reasonable camera would be helpfulDual SIM - both my phone SIMS would go in with different ring tones, it will allow just one SIM as well. A micro SD card expands the memoryThe instruction book is pretty much useless but it does (sort of) tell you how to get the back off - afterwards just follow your nose you realise it is a basic phone with basic controls. Battery life, no idea - I left it alone for 4 days and it was still about 3/4 full after a couple of calls and a text, took me about 15 mins to recharge it after thatSOS function, not a clue, it comes switched off and I left it switched offIts a good phone, 5 separate alarms and a reasonable camera .... exactly what I needed
