I actually buy this for amending my soil to be more breathable for the roots while absorbing moisture, less watering, less chace of root rot, and it is all natural, and plenty in quatity for the price. And also acid-loving plants like it in the log run as it is wood, and will release tannins when decomposing. It is typically good for plants, as lower pH means better nutrient uptake (supplement with calcium also if possible, look up chicken grit). But I use it for all of my indoor and outdoor plants, especially for those that like a loamy soil too. Works for multiple uses.

I’m really happy with this aspen bedding. This was my first time trying this snake litter for my corn snakes, and it’s been a great experience so far. My corn snakes seemed comfortable with it right away—they started burrowing and exploring almost immediately, which was a great sign. Love this aspen snake bedding for my hamster's enclosure. It's soft and most importantly it isn't dusty. It's the only aspen bedding I will buy for my hamster, the others are usually so dusty they make me worry about the effects on her respiratory system.
