Recommended for Men Looking for High Quality Multivitamin
I am very pleased with these multivitamins from Thorne. Especially formulated for men over the age of 50 on paper. Truly are a comprehensive daily multivitamin. I have seen some feedback in the reviews concerning the smell. It is not uncommon for multivitamins, especially high quality multivitamins, to have a certain aroma about them. I think that just comes with the territory and as a part of your overall wellness regimen, I think this is a minor hill to climb. I do not find the smell to be overwhelming though it certainly isn't pleasant. Everyone is different and has different levels of sensitivity. To me it has a slight fishy smell to it and I don't mean that in a bad way. I have no problem taking them. I did one at a time and it goes right down. No problem. Again, everyone is different. But if you don't overthink it, you should be fine. All that said, it's a small price to pay when you have found a high quality multivitamin that not only adds benefits to your wellness regimen but has a reputation that you can trust.

Good brand
Good supplement option. I like and trust this brand. But I found they have a solid veterans benefit and now buy direct.

Strong Smell, But Otherwise Solid
This multivitamin seems to cover all the essential nutrients I was looking for, and the quality appears good. However, it has a very strong vitamin smell that’s hard to ignore. If you’re sensitive to odors, that might be a drawback. Other than that, it’s a decent supplement.

Quality product that i feel really works
Let me start with the bad. It's expensive and smells/tastes HORRIBLE. That being said, I really feel this is good stuff. I've had digestive issues for a long time. I've use to have to run to the bathroom after every meal. I have noticed that is no longer the case after taking Thorne multivitamins for only a short time. If you can deal with the smell/taste, I do think you will see a difference in your well-being.

A Multivitamin That Actually Earns Its Price Tag
This isn’t your average “men’s daily” vitamin that gets by on a blue label and empty promises. This one’s clearly built for men who actually care what goes into their bodies. The nutrient forms are the kind your system can actually use: methylcobalamin instead of cyanocobalamin, methylfolate instead of folic acid, chelated minerals instead of cheap oxides. You can tell the formulators have met a biochemistry textbook before. It’s aimed at men over 50, but frankly, anyone could benefit from the upgrade. It supports energy, cardiovascular health, hormones, and prostate function with meaningful doses of zinc, selenium, lycopene, boron, and vitamin D3. The active B vitamins make a big difference if you’re after real energy support rather than the “maybe I’ll feel less tired in a few weeks” placebo effect you get from bargain brands. Yes, it’s pricier, and yes, taking six capsules a day is mildly annoying. But that’s the cost of using quality ingredients in bioavailable doses instead of compressing a day’s worth of nutrition into a rock-hard pill that dissolves three hours after you swallow it. Compared to the “leading brands” you find on every pharmacy shelf, this is a completely different league. Those rely on low-absorption minerals, synthetic vitamins, and flashy packaging. This one relies on science. Pros: Superior nutrient forms (methylated and chelated) Excellent male-specific support (zinc, selenium, boron, lycopene) No unnecessary iron High transparency and purity standards Cons: More expensive than mass-market options Six capsules daily (commitment required) Modest calcium and magnesium content In summary: If you want more than a token multivitamin, this is it. It’s what the “leading brands” pretend to be.

Six. Freaking. Capsules. That's not a serving size, that's a side quest.
It's a quality product, but make sure you're aware of what you're buying. It takes SIX CAPSULES to give you one day's supplementation. As my friend Ren said, "Six. Freaking. Capsules. That's not a serving size, that's a side quest." He went on to say, "Always check the serving size. If it’s over 2 caps, it’s usually nonsense. If it’s 6, it’s a scam wrapped in a wellness hoodie." And at 6 capsules, you'd think they'd be easy smaller and easy to swallow right? Wrong. You're going to have to swallow it in installments. I take a lot of pills (Rx and supplement) and it's usually no problem for me to swallow 10 or 15 pills at once. But not these. They don't go down easily. For myself, I have a brand that I know and trust and have been using for years. I tried the Thorne because it doesn't contain a couple of ingredients my usual multi does. Those ingredients were giving me heartburn when I took it, so I tried to get the closest I could to it without including those. Thorne Men's Multi 50+ seemed to be a good fit. And then I forgot to check the serving size, and suddenly it became more expensive than my usual brand. The taste also left something to be desired—but all multivitamins are going to taste bad, right? Buy what you want and works for you. But if you're looking for a new multi and are undecided between this product and another one, go with the other one.
