I bought this for my oldest son (42y/o). He is a big fella, a tad over 3 bills. I looked at 2 med supply stores and didn't see anything I felt confident he'd both be safe and comfortable with (he worries that one day he'll sit on something, it will collapse and he'll further damage his spine). Then I found this. I was apprehensive as I abhor buying an item, especially something for my son, online, without physically putting my hands on one. I rolled the dice and man am I impressed. It's so well built it'll last him the rest of his life. It's also very comfortable which for him is a huge thing because I can wash and wax the car in less time than it takes him to have a bm. Lol. Anyway, if you're shopping for a sturdy, comfortable portable toilet you should give one a look. He's very happy with this purchase.

Very happy with the way this purchase turned out! I got this for my mom and shipped it oversees where she lives. It got there safe with only damage to the box. She started using it since day one . After 2 months of daily use, I can say that she loves it to the point that she doesn’t use the regular toilet that much anymore! Very comfortable, sturdy and she feels safe using it.

I really like this commode as a portable toilet. I have M.S. and sometimes can’t make it to the toilet. I needed something that has no risk of tipping over. This is nice and wide and very sturdy. It’s frame is all steel and not riveted together. I trust it, which is important. I also now trust the seller. I paid 180 and it’s now 122 which is a bummer. But they sent me a new one right away when I complained about the package getting totally thrashed in shipping and the feet totally mangled. Which it was. I don’t know how fedex could have beaten this up so bad. But it happens. Thank you Honest Medical for sending me a new one.

I'm looking at both a knee replacement and hip replacement in the coming months, so decided to buy this bedside commode out of pocket, since the pain and stiffness in my knee was already making getting to my water closet in time in the middle of the night questionable.Although I didn't need a bariactric commode, I bought this one because I wanted a really sturdy chair. This one is perfect.I like that it has a small footprint, so that it's easier to forget that I have a commode right in my bedroom now, plus there's less chance that I trip over one of the legs when I walk past it. I LOVE that the assembly was so easy and that it's not too heavy to pick up. Even with a bum knee and failing hips, I was able to get it out of the box, do the minimal assembly and place it where I wanted it in my bedroom.I also like how the arms click into place, so that it will be easy to put them up or down as needed. Also, the seat platform is nice and sturdy and the backrest is comfortable.I few things I don't like is the commode is not white as it shows in the item photo, but rather that yucky "hospital gray" color. Also, one of the arms has a slight wobble, but I will just be mindful not to put much weight on it as I stand up. Another minus is the bucket. It can easily slide forward and out of the track if the chair is tilted forward or moved, so going to have to be careful in that regard until I do a DIY fix for it.Overall, I'm happy with the commode. It's built very well and definitely worth the money.

I highly recommend this. Be sure to check out my video. You just beat the stability of this chair. It's rock solid. Most commodes will not offer the added structure. This has struts and cross members so there's no wobble. I'm very happy. Check out the video. The only thing I would add is a locking mechanism for the pot. I used an 8 inch bungee secured to the struts which worked great. You definitely do NOT want a full pot sliding out on you.

This product is as advertised. It is very sturdy, yet light enough to be moved easily. I could only like it more if it had a padded seat.

This is a great product. Very sturdy and spacious. I would recommend redesigning the cover so it fits nicely on the top of the commode which allows it to become a chair.

I like that the potty is bigger and very sturdy. No problems so far with tipping. Easy to clean. However, weirdly, the lid does not fit over the opening in the chair. You have to take the collection bucket out to put the lid on. Also, we are having a significant problem with leaking. There is a very small difference between the size of the bucket and the round hole in the seat and somehow my husband manages to find it every time he urinates. Otherwise, I recommend it.
