CinelliCork Gel Bicycle Handlebar Tape in Multiple Colors

Used this many times over the years. There is nothing to beat it for comfort, long-wearing life, ease of installation, as long as you use electrical tape instead of the finishing tape supplied (but that is true for all bar tape, in my experience). Additional tip: get SaveMyBar end caps from Close The Gap instead of using the bar plugs supplied. Makes installing the bar tape so much easier. Just slips over the end of the bars, secured with electrical tape and you wind the bar tape around it, instead of struggling to tuck it into the end of the bars and fix the bar plugs. Again, this applies whichever bar tape you use. As used by Visma LeaseABike, so can't be bad!

High quality and thick wrap with thats comfortable and easy to grip. 2 good size rolls with plenty of material to cover all that you'll need. When wrapping just make sure its spread out properly to not give you lumpy or bare spots.

This Handlebar tape made a big difference compared to the cheap tape I had. Noticed no fatigue on my hands and absorb shock from bumps

I had been using another popular and high priced tape that kept slipping and coming loose. Giving up on that brand after having to change it out much too soon I decided to try this Cinelli Cork Gel tape. This is great stuff. Not only is this tape comfortably thick, it has an adhesive strip on the back that's twice as wide as most competitors brands. Since I put it on it hasn't budged a bit. I'm giving it 5 stars because it's great tape, but there are two minor drawbacks. The first is that the bar end plugs are awkward to install, so I used the ones from my previous tape. The second issue is that you only get one shot at applying the pretty Cinelli branded finishing tape. I had to pull it off to reset it, and when I did it wouldn't stay stuck the second time. No problem though, as I just went back to good old electrical tape.

Cinelli bar tape is excellent. I have recently used Deda, Kingou, and Alien bar tape and I am here to say, Cinelli is the best. The tape is easy to wrap with a light adhesive that allows repositioning without ripping the tape underneath. The is plenty of length so no need to overstretch the tape to cover the bar. Large extra tape sections for covering the brake clamps. On the road, it is very cushioning and comfortable. Excellent stuff!
