`Master Class' okay for beginners
Super Shred Guitar Master Class with Jeff Loomis is broken into three sections:Chapter one contains; chromatic finger exercises, scale studies(C major,G major, whole tone, and E diminished), sweep picking exercise, sweep picking with tapping exercises, and diminished dominant 7th sweeps exercises.Chapter Two Jeff teaches various riffs from his songs;1. Shouting Fire at a Funeral; Intro and Verse,2. Jato Unit; Intro,3. Devils Theory; Intro,4. I, Voyager; Intro and Verse5. Inside Four Walls; pedaling riff6. Enemies of Reality; pedaling riffChapter Three Jeff teaches solo excerpts from the following song;1. Shouting Fire at a Funeral2. Jato Unit,3. Devils Theory,4. Miles of MachinesJeff breaks the lessons up in sections of scales, sweeps and arpeggios.I found Jeff's material easy to learn and heavy sounding (although it's difficult to play as fast as him). I think Super Shred DVD is good for beginners and intermediates but not really for advance players. It includes a PDF file that has the tablature that you have to print out. Also Jeff plays a 24 fret 7 strings guitar so it you don't have 24 frets you can't really play his solos.

Errors in Tab
Lots of great riffs and licks here, but many errors in the tab! You can play most of this (not all) on a six string but will need to tune down to Bb standard with a drop-tune pedal for riffs on the lower strings. You can just tune down to Eb for a lot of the material in the higher range.
