Brilliant wee book for babies 😁
I bought this as a first birthday present (accompanied by a couple of cuddly animals to match) and it went down a storm (also with the parents) 😁

Life on the farm - with large flaps
This is a large hardback book with thick cardboard pages. On the right-hand side of each double page is a large flap that opens to reveal an animal (or on the last page a farmer). The story revolves around a cockerel's cock-a-doodle-doooo! It's a nice story for two-year-olds.Well illustrated with watercolour-style pictures.

Can I give it six stars?
This must be one of the best pop-up books ever…can I give it six stars? The card pages are quite robust and the theme of waking up on the farm is followed through the whole book. The cockerel wakes up first and one by one all the other animals wake up. The pop-ups have been created really well and each one has lots of interest and talking points. From my days as a primary school teacher I know that pop-up books never last long when inquisitive fingers try to find out how they work. The six year old in the family is allowed to read this book but I will only let the younger ones use it under adult supervision!A lovely book for parent-child interaction.

Beautiful pop up book
This is beautiful. A short pop up book about a farm, the quality of the cardboard pop ups is excellent - they really come to life as you open and close the pop up parts of the pages. It is short and sweet, but will be one we'll return to many times, so well worth the money. I like that the farmer is a woman also.Thoroughly recommended.

Love it.
This book is really excellent. Bright colours, nice thick cardboard pages and a big flap on each page to pull down which reveals a 3 D animal. The usual problem with pop up books is the danger of ripping of the flaps during playtime but I don't think that will be a problem with this book. Lots to talk about and as we have just got a farmyard animal set this book makes a really good companion toy. Look at the animals in the book and you have the toy animals as well.

A beautiful product but not robust enough for toddlers
'Wake up, Farm' is a beautifully illustrated lift the flap book. In the style of Eric Carle, it has thick cardboard pages and a simple story. The main downside is that the pop ups under the flaps are not robust for a toddler to appreciate, so the lovely pictures lasted about five minutes before getting broken. One to share carefully.

Love It
I am a pre-school teacher and I can tell you that this is such a lovely children's book. Any book with a lovely rhyme scheme has sold it for me. I can imagine reading it to the children in my class. Watching their faces light up as they look through the colourful pages of the book and listen to the rhymes. After reading it a couple of times I can imagine them saying the words back to me. Love it...
