Dishwasher safe!!
I’m not sure why KitchenAid doesn’t just include this with all of their stand mixers. It’s very annoying to have to keep cleaning the oxidation off of the alumin variant that is sold with the mixer. This one is amazing. No cleaning issues and is dishwasher safe.

DISHWASHER SAFE AT LAST
Anybody else disgusted with KitchenAid's whips made of aluminum that oxidize in the dishwasher? Finally found one that is all stainless. I've washed it in the dishwasher several times already and it is perfect. I'm breathing a sigh of relief. As much as I tried to keep my other one from the dishwasher, hubby or one of the kids always tossed it in behind my back. The resulting black oxidization came off on my hands and I assume anything I made with that thing. Now back to kitchen-clean living.

Sturdy and dishwasher safe!!
This one is much more sturdy than the one that came with my KitchenAid stand mixer...AND it's dishwasher safe! Finally! No more dark smudge marks on my hand (after the original one inevitably ended up in the dishwasher by accident).
