GOLDSTITCHMen Hooded Robe Cloak Knight Fancy Cool Cosplay Costume

Perfect Cloak for Cosplay or Just Feeling Mysterious
I was honestly surprised at how nice this cloak turned out to be for the price! The fabric has a good weight to it—not too heavy, but not thin or see-through either. The stitching is clean, and the hood is large and dramatic, exactly what I wanted for a Sith-style costume.I wore this to a cosplay event and got compliments all day. It pairs perfectly with a belt, gloves, and a lightsaber if you’re going for a Star Wars look, but it could easily work for medieval, wizard, or vampire costumes too. The length was just right (I’m about 5’11”) and it flowed nicely when walking.Definitely recommend this for anyone needing a solid, affordable robe for Halloween, conventions, or theater. Just make sure to give it a quick steam or iron out of the package!

Versatile, Great Quality, and Roomy
I bought this for my 15yo son's Halloween costume, but also for the Sarasota Ren. Faire (if we get to go this year). He is 5'11", about 130lbs, and the Large was the perfect length for him, to his shoes. I imagine a larger/heavier adult would also have room in there, as it fit me at 160lbs, but a little long on my 5'7" self. The material is thick, like a curtain, so won't rip or pique like the thinner cloaks. The tie at the top is also sewn on pretty well, so will hold together better than others, too. He will be using a belt around the middle to keep it from flowing, but not necessary if your costume choice needs a flowing cloak... For the Ren Faire he wants it open. The one thing we didn't like was the over-sized hood, but I did see the pics and all, so not a surprise, but small price to pay for a the good material. I plan on folding it a bit and pinning, but again, maybe you want the big hood or want it down anyway.Overall, my son loves it, and that's what matters. Hope he gets use out of it a few times, and I know it will last a while.

Quite nice for the price.
I was nervous about the item I might get due to mixed reviews, I did get the uniform materials version which was a relief, but the material is still a bit thin. It's okay, I'm using it for a pattern anyway and then will alter it for a festival robe. The XXL size is very big, sleeves are easily 6" beyond my finger tips, hood is proportinally large, and the length was about 10" too long but I am only 5'8" ~175lbs and plan to wear this over steel armor after alterations.Well worth the cost for me. It did arrive late, but it is what it is... There is no closure, so you will need to add one or use a belt or rope to tie it.Overall, it will function as it should! And the fabric, again, is quality - but sort of thin.

Pretty good if your not looking for super high quality
A little stiff and a little smelly. The thickness isn't bad but definitely a plastic material. For the price not so bad

How is this so good for the price!?
Ok seriously, the difference in this robe and the one I bought first (and am returning) is like night and day and for only a $2 price difference!? It’s hard to believe. First off, let’s talk about the first robe I purchased from a different seller. The first one came in something like a quart-sized ziptop style bag and I was already concerned because I knew it had to be thin. It got worse. Not only was it paper thin (it weighed ounces), it was super shiny and the stitches were ugly. However, all of that being said, for what I paid, (around $13) it was what I was expecting and actually still a decent cheap robe- until I bought this one…For only $2 more - THIS robe arrived in a box - because it would absolutely not fit in an ziptop bag. The material, while still costume quality, FAR exceeds the quality of the first robe. This one weighs what you would expect an actual robe made of yards of material, to weigh. The next difference I noticed was the hood. This hood is lined so the fabric is doubled on the hood which gives it a much better look and fit because it’s weighty and lies nicely on the head.Last, and probably most importantly, the actual fabric itself. It would cost twice the selling price of this robe to buy the materials at a fabric store to make this robe yourself (Which I also considered) so don’t bother. Just buy this one.I’m just blown away by the difference of quality in these 2 items. I just looked for robes like this at a popular Halloween store and comparing quality, I would guess a robe of this quality would be considered their “premium” robe and would be at least $40 (if that helps). The other one would have been the cheapest department store robe at best. I’ve included some side by side photos of the 2 robes. Pay the extra $2!For size reference, I wanted it to be a little fitted on my husband. He is about 200lbs, 6’ in shoes (roughly). I bought a large and he says it’s comfortable. It falls right around the ground I believe. (I can’t remember because I am cutting off some of the bottom for his particular costume so I did not pay close attention to the length.)

Well-made and thick
Surprisingly, thick and well-made for what it is

99% perfect. Good buy!
Bought this to take promo pictures for my Dungeon Synth side project. Expected it to be thin but the material is actually a much denser material considering the price. Well stitched. Size 3XL arms and overall length are perfect. Waist is a little small for my frame but that’s more a me problem lol. Would recommend!
