I just received this nice sized magnet with info for smoking on the grill/smoker. It's sturdy, a nice large size, and being a magnet, it'll be right on my frig and I'll be able to access the info anytime I need it. Very pleased with the quality. If you are looking for something like this, I highly recommend it.

I bought one on a whim last year, after starting to experiment with the smoker. Mine came in good printed quality, on a magnet that's strong enough to stay in place but not too strong to move if needed. I personally keep mine attached to the lid of my pellet hopper (Traeger Pro 22).Since I've had this, I've never thought "well, I know most of these wood flavors work but are any recommended over the others?" or "what was the safe temp range for chicken again?". What's more, not only is it magnetized for convenience, I'd say this one in particular probably has the most information per square inch of the popular smoking guides available.Ultimately, this won't (and shouldn't) be something you lean on every single time you cook, but it is more than nice to have as a reference when you're in a bind or not sure where to go next. I'm sure my dad and father-in-law will enjoy these as birthday gifts too.

This very handy magnet was a gift for a meat smoker user. It is very sturdy; stays well on the front of the smoker; and has a wealth of useful information on the chart. The user is pleased with the amount of information and to have it so conveniently accessible. it was well-packaged and received in a timely manner.

Apparently we have a difference of opinion as to the rating scale. In my world 3 (in a 1 to 5 scale) means it meets my expectations. Anything above that means my expectations were exceeded and below 3 means they have some work to do. Therefore, 3 should be acceptable.Now, that having been said, I am quite pleased with the smoking guide I received from Cave Tools. It's very handy and contains a lot of information in a small area. It got here in two days! Those are the good pieces.In the '3' (again, "meets expectations") range, I was surprised that it wasn't made of metal There isn't anything that tells me how hot I can get the thing without melting it. Can I place it directly on the hinged smoker top? The top gets too hot to keep your hand on during use. Some guidance would be nice.OK, let's recap... One minor item and two pretty good pluses... sounds like a good solid 4 to me.Thanks for the guide, the quick delivery, and the follow-up note.Any info on temperature resistance of the guide would be appreciated, (I don't want to find out what the melting temperature is at home).Thanks!!Bill

Use this temperature guide all the time. I appreciate the wide range in temperature guides and tend to follow the chef temp. Purchased additional ones to give to family as gifts for those who love to cook.

I stuck it on the door to my Bradley smoker great reference for temperature and how long the smoke meat for.

Don't get me wrong the information displayed is well presented, but black print on a gray background is difficult to read. I'd been given another brand's magnetic temp display like this one and it was printed black on gray. That's why I bought this one. The picture of it on the Amazon page showed the print to be black on a white background. What I ended up doing was capturing the image on screen, cropping the useful information and sending it to myself. I keep it on my cell and tablet for easy reference.
