Replacing the old radiator was one of the 1st things I did to my 2000 Toyota 4Runner LTD after I bought it with 232K miles on the clock, the OEM radiator was still going strong so this was a preventative maintenance item. Koyorad A1998 was recommended replacement on the biggest 4Runner forum so I went with this. Direct bolt on, no fuss, no issues. While replacing the radiator I also replaced the red coolant with Toyota red (50/50) and also replaced the upper and lower radiator hoses, radiator cap, the thermostat and gasket, all OEM. I'm happy to report, after 2+ years and 16K miles later the radiator is doing great, no leaks, no cracks, no issues. I'm not expecting it to last as long as the OEM did, but with regular coolant flushes, hoping I'll make it to 300K miles before I'll go ahead and replace it again, just to be on the safe side.

Got this for my 97 4runner. Was amazingly easy to install. Everything lined right up and was just a matter of draining fluid from the one and pulling it out and swapping. Lots of writeups on the web. Looks to be really well built. My original radiator was still functioning fine, but with 275,000 miles on it felt it was past due. (This is mainly due to it also being used as a tranny cooler and I wanted to avoid the dreaded strawberry milkshake). Benn driving around with the new one for a month now.Pros:Price, Found it on Amazon, Packaged well, no bent fins.Cons:I had to do the swap myself, but it was easy.

Mounted right up to my 3rd gen 2002 4runner with no issues. Koyorad is a very high quality and affordable radiator that you can trust to avoid strawberry milkshakes. This combined with an external trans cooler will have you on the road for a while..........UPDATE: Well, I thought all above to be true. Dont waste your time with aftermarket when it comes to important components, like your radiator. Lasted just about 9 months and the seals are already leaking making a convenient mess. Better get this thing out before it mixes with my transmission fluid!

Mounting holes did not all line up.

Fits my 2002 4runner, but it only lasted about a year before cracking and needing replacement. I should never have replaced my original OEM radiator with a Chinese one. Buyer beware.

Exact fit for 2002 4runner, as it should be. It did arrive with a few bent fins, but no holes.

Perfect fit! Box was a little damaged during shipping but radiator was protected well, thing works like a charm!
