V6 Replacement Battery 5.0Ah

I originally purchased this Dyson replacement battery for my vacuum cleaner with high expectations. For the first few months, it performed admirably, allowing my vacuum cleaner to work efficiently and effectively. However, around six months into its use, it began displaying signs of failure, culminating in a total refusal to accept a charge. The battery's light now continually flashes red, a clear indication of a charging fault. This was quite disappointing, as one would typically expect the battery to last longer given its brand reputation and considering the vacuum cleaner's non-intensive use environment. However, I must now update my initial review, which was decidedly negative, due to the fantastic customer service I received from the seller. Despite my previous dissatisfaction, the seller was remarkably responsive, reaching out to me three times. Due to the large volume of emails I receive, the first two attempts got lost in the crowd. However, they persisted, and when their third email got my attention, they swiftly and professionally addressed my issues. The seller promptly offered a full refund for the battery, a solution that genuinely surprised and pleased me. While I initially had issues with the battery's longevity, the seller's dedication to customer satisfaction ultimately eclipsed these problems. It is this high standard of customer service that leads me to amend my initial rating. I hope this information will be helpful to future customers. UPDATED: I was reached out to by the company who made it very easy for me to order a new battery free of charge and shipped it quickly. It seems to be working perfectly, holding a long charge and not having any issues. I'm hopeful that my first unit was just a defect and that the new battery will last for a long time. The actual installation of the battery and the power it provides are great. OLD REVIEW: This worked really well when we first got it. After a few months, though, it started to only work intermittently. It will turn on for 10 seconds and then off for 10 and then you have to re-push the trigger to start again and it only lasts 10 seconds. The battery is flashing yellow and then green.

UPDATE: I posted the review below after my second battery broke. The company emailed me to confirm my shipping address and sent a new one immediately. It’s been working fine. Happy to have the customer service email in case i need to contact them again. I’ve now ordered two of these batteries for my dyson. The first one never charged, I got a replacement fairly easy and quickly. Now it’s nine months later and it doesn’t hold more than three minutes charge. We’ve vacuumed about twice a week since we got it. Wish I would’ve kept the manufacturer’s book from the box because I can’t actually find warranty info within the listing or order details. It says that there is a one year warranty, but good luck getting a hold of them to actually make that transaction.

I purchased this a while back....maybe used it in the vac 10 times. At first it held a decent charge.....then after those few uses....charge lasts about 5 minutes and when charging the charging light never goes off. JUNK!

UPDATE The company contacted me to resolve this issue and replaced the battery long after the return window closed. I can't speak to how long this battery will last, but the level of customer service was better than I ever imagined. I feel like this level of customer service should be rewareded. *** (original message) At first I was impressed with this battery. It worked well, was strong enough and lasted about as long as expected at low and high speed. However, after four months it no longer holds a charge. It was subjected to pretty light use, but I want it to work when I need it.

This battery is super easy to install. Remove two small Philips head screws and pull it out. This battery is and exact fit for the Dyson V6 Car and Boat vacuum. Great value at around $22!!! If your existing battery’s blue light just blinks after charging and the vacuum only runs briefly or not t all, then this battery will fix your problem. Have had it for about 10 days now and it works great. Holds a great charge. Well worth the money. Definitely recommend for your Dyson.

Used successfully in a Dyson V6 Cordless. No complaints. Good value. Many reviewers says this will last a year to two. I hope mine can last longer. I have bought 2 aftermarket batteries for my older cordless Dyson, both lasted about 2+ yrs before performance degraded too much. I guess it all depends on how frequently you use and drain it, we use the vacuum twice a week on average.

Lasted 2 years. Expected more life.
