It tool me a while to find this, but now I can finally ise my water/ice dispenser again! The original gray one doesn't seem to exist anywhere, but this black one works great!

Easy to install and it fixed my problem.
My water dispenser on my JennAir refrigerator was sticking causing water to spill everywhere. Product was exactly like my old one. I watched a YouTube video on how to install and it was quick and easy.

Rubber was not stiff enough to automatically bounce back to proper shape and thus would not deactivate the switch. You can even see in the picture the indentation where the actuator protrusion is adhered to the rubber; because of this deformed shape, the rubber does not adequately operate the switch.

Works great now.
I bought this and a new limit switch to address the actuator getting stuck sometimes. This new one made it even worse-- the plastic piece that gets pushed in to depress the limit switch was misaligned with where it needs to be for my refrigerator. As a result, it would have a lot of friction against another plastic surface and would get stuck.I ended up being able to address it by taking a Dremel to the plastic piece on the back side of this pad to shave down the areas that were rubbing against the plastic in my refrigerator. Works great now.

If your ice maker won't stop this could be the culprit
We have a 15 year old fridge with an ice maker. During that time I have replaced just about everything that is involved with the ice maker. Before replacing this, when ever you would dispense ice, it wouldn't stop. Ice would keep coming until you opened a door to stop it. After replacing this it works great. Fit and looked just like the original.

My old pad was worn and would cause the pin to stick causing water to run. All you do to install it is. 1 unplug the plug at the top freezer door hinge or unplug from the wall. 2 remove the drip tray and the two screws under it. 3 gently pull the plastic trim away at the bottom. 4 lift up and pull the top portion of the trim away. Carefully pull the plug toward the top of the trim. 5 remove all the screws you see and lift the pad assembly out.
