Makes beautiful, nutritious, purple gel
This is my first foray into sea moss gel. As with most things, I prefer as close to natural product as I can get, so rather than buying sea moss gel, I bought sea moss. Hand-picked from St Lucia on the coast of Ireland. It's purple and gloriously so! It smells like the ocean, because it came from the ocean. I took half the package, rinsed it off really well, then soaked it in a quart mason jar of good water for 2 days. Then I poured that water out and put the sea moss into a blender with about 3.5 cups of good water + the juice of one lemon and blended until smooth (yeah, it took a little time in a traditional blender, like 4 or 5 minutes). Poured the fresh gel into the quart mason jar and put it in the fridge. It's beautiful and purple! I put 1 Tbsp gel in a smoothie and drink it every day. I feel fantastic! Its like my cells crave the minerals I'm getting out of this. My goal is to get rid of the supplements I take and replace them with more naturally occurring bio-available products. Red's Kitchen Sink purple sea moss is definitely one of those things that will help me achieve that goal.

This product is not about taste or cost...
My son has been on me for years about Sea Moss. He's like, "Dad, you gotta get on this sea moss!" I looked it up and it blew my mind what I found out. There are 104 "VITAL" nutrients that the body needs to function properly on a DAILY basis and sea moss contains 92 of them in high levels. That right there is worth the price of admission folks! I tried this gel that my son was buying from a small business. It was this lumpy jelly that tasted unpleasant and made me gag when I tried to take it. It wasn't so pleasant to get down. I decided to get my own raw sea moss and make my own gel. I'm so glad I did. I soak the raw sea moss in purified, alkalized and ph'd water for 36 hours. Then I rinse it thoroughly several times to get the sea salts off. Then I add the raw sea moss, organic coconut water, organic blueberries, strawberries, raspberries pomegranate and agave to my Vitamix blender. You need plenty of liquid as a lubricant to get the sea moss and fruit to break down to a jelly-like consistency. The liquid also helps the blade and motor break the thick sea moss and fruit down. Start slow and see how your blender responds. You can also add a little ingredients at a time or do it in smaller batches. Add more liquid if your blender gets stuck. I would NOT ATTEMPT THIS WITH A CHEAP BLENDER! The results that I have personally witnessed since taking sea moss daily for about six months is hard to put into words. Combined with exercise and a clean diet, I lost over 40 lbs in 4 months. I was on blood pressure and thyroid medication prior to sea moss and I haven't taken either in over 6 months. Like I said, I hadn't taken my thyroid medication for at least 3 months and went to have my blood work done to see where my levels are at. The doctor had to lower my thyroid medication that I already wasn't taking, which means my thyroid is healing. Doctor's will never prescribe you anything that they can't make a buck off of. Remember: EVERY HOSPITAL IS A BUSINESS! If you could heal yourself, then why do you need them? People just lack the discipline to actually do it and stick to it. I make a protein shake in the morning with: Organic Chocolate plant protein, coconut water, organic frozen blueberries, strawberries and 4-6 tbsp of the sea moss gel I made. It's amazing and filling. You will fell like a little kid again. You can take as much as you want. It gives me boundless energy, mental clarity and a youthful bounce. It's not like you're on something either. There's no jitters or any side effects that I've noticed. I told my doctor he could keep his medication. THIS IS NOT MEDICAL ADVICE!!!

Sea moss gel
I made sea moss gel and have been adding to fresh juices and smoothies. It is nice and smooth with no taste to worry about when adding to drinks or food. Hoping it does great things for skin and hair but have only just started using so will have to review on that at a later date.

I love seamoss. I use it in everything homemade.
I liked it however it had a slight ocean scent. I only gave it a four stars because I like the original one better and the consistency was a slight bit different when I blended it. Overall, it’s a great product.

A great source of Irish moss.
Great product! Came as described. Bought for a friend who is using right away. She is very happy with it. It’s blended into a pretty purple gel showing is anthocyanin quality. We will see how she feels taking it in.

Taste Fishy.
Too expensive for the stinky seamoss. I been purchasing raw seamoss and I gave a try to order this brand coz I thought it’s better because it’s expensive. But I am really disappointed I made some of it to try and doesn’t matter what I put in it to get rid off fishy taste but still fishy and it makes me throw up when I tried to ingest it. I can’t take it. Unlike the other brand doesn’t taste like this one. I tried to add peanut butter or put it in my smoothie but doesn’t work. Makes me throw up so I have to throw it away.I am not happy to buy this brand. It’s stink and taste awful don’t waste your money coz they don’t allow you to return or replace it.🤮🤮🤮
