They look great, cut great and are very sturdy. The black coating is coming off a bit on some of them hence the four stars but overall they’re great.

This is the second set of these I have purchased. The first were plain black rather than these marbled ones. There are pros and one notable con over the previous version. The blades are slightly thicker and this gives them a more rugged feel. The grips have been slightly altered for the better but they were already good.The only downside is that the santoku blade doesn't have the customary dimples etched into it as the previous version did and that makes that particular blade slightly more bulky than it should be.Regardless, this remains a quality set that is crazy good value for money.

I got these set of 5 knives for a steal price of £12.39. And honestly no regrets or whatsoever. I read comments about the coating gone after some usage etc. but I don’t have a problem with that, I’m not buying these to keep inside a glass display. They are tools and they will have wear and tear over time. But as long as their handle stays put and can be resharpened I’m happy. Of course they do look nice now. And very sharp indeed. The chef knife is lighter than my current one. And the paring knife is very good with a thin and sharp blade. Quite lightweight.If anything, I don’t personally like a serrated knife. Would have preferred something else instead.That’s about it.

After a couple of months of using the whole set, none of the knifes are not sharp anymore, frankly I cannot even cut an onion easily with any of them.

Nice and sharp and really great set

Very sharp and I love the covers
