These are really nice for trimming the wafer. They don't hurt my fingers the way the metal scissors my ostomy nurse used did.

These are the best ostomy scissors I have found. I received several pairs of scissors in various sample kits from the likes of Hollister, Coloplast and Convatec. These scissors are far superior to all of those. Sharp, precise and easy to handle. I am able to make very accurate cuts with these. Very happy with them.

I have large, sausage shaped fingers. The little ostomy scissors the hospital sends you home with have finger holes designed for a 5 year old. In addition, those scissors are not sharp enough to make smooth, accurate cuts on the barrier opening. I bought these hoping they would fit my fingers better (They Do!) and sharp enough to cut out the barrier area needed. They are nice and sharp and allow me to cut the barrier smoothly and accurately. If you have an Ostomy and need a good pair of scissors to trim the opening in the barrier, these are excellent for that purpose.

Most scissors I’ve tried before use finger openings barely big enough for a single finger (uncomfortable). I like the large grip on these because it’s more comfortable for me. Also, the tip is blunt which prevents me from piercing my colostomy bags. It’s also got a good curve on the blades for making circular cuts.

Great for cutting out certain sizes of my skin barrier

These scissors are much better than the ones that came in the Hollister starter pack. Those didn’t work well at all. These are great and easy to use.

Very sharp.fingers and thumb fit great. Works great for what they are design for.
