Leaks a little
You have you tip the bottle over (like you’re pouring it) and squeeze to push the water out of the spout/holes but a little bit of water leaks at the part that screws the bottle and spout together. I typically just pour water directly in from the bottle without the cap and swish it around. However, it is hard to get a good clean on the very top of the bag where the filter is. The spout holes in all directions does make it much easier because you can spray the water with pressure in the crevices to get a much better clean.

Helps to clean
This helps to clean the colostomy bag so it is easier to empty.

Could have been designed better.
The bag cleaning tool is a good size and the water comes out in all directions to clean thoroughly but there is no tube inside the bottle to drive the water out of the spout unless the bottle is completely full. If you use it once, you have to refill the bottle to completely full to get the water to come out in a controlled fashion.I purchased another bottle with the inside tube and it works as you would expect.I am returning the original bottles because they are really quite unusable.

Pretty HUGE for squeeze bottles
Ok, so Yes, they have a picture in the product info. that shows the size. So, I should have realized long before it arrived, but at the time I just got my Ostomy & hadn’t even left the hospital (my excuse+I’m sticking to it)! Let me tell You, I was “Shocked” when I received my bottles😳😱 They are literally as Big as a fully open hand. I thought they were little bottles that held a few ounces of water. NOPE!, These Bad Boys hold like a quart or water, they don’t play around.Personally, I admit, they are a bit too much for me. If I had it to do again,I would slow down & not order them.Regardless of the anything else, these blue bottles are high quality, hold a lot of water - approx. a Quart, are made of sturdy non-see-thru blue plastic, and have a good length for a pour/spray spout. So, if I could find a use for them, then I would not hesitate to recommend them. I will probably use them to water my hanging plants that are a bit harder to reach. Instead of buying a super expensive & heavy watering can. These blue bottles should work out nicely & not strain my arm lifting them that high, because even filled with water they’re light. After having my Ostomy for about a Year (next month), I can honestly tell You, I only recently started using water to clean out my Ostomy bag. I have found that I don’t like a bunch of waste in my bag (cleaning helps control bad smells), nor the weight of a ½ to a full bag. Also, when You have very acidic waste (because You don’t watch what You eat *coughs*) Rinsing out Your Ostomy bag is a Good Thing! Doing so removes the acidic waste keeping it from just sitting there on Your Stoma or around Your Stoma and on Your skin, and irritating it..To Rinse out my bag I simply use a bottle of “Spring Water (Not just “Drinking Water” definitely NOT “Mineral Water” READ the Label), make sure it’s Pure/Only Spring or Distilled Water. Stomas are sensitive & an open part of Your Intestinal System, so You have to be CAREFUL what liquids come into contact with Your Stoma. I simply make sure that My body is at an angle so if water Enters my Ostomy bag, it won’t just pour back out! Then I hold my Ostomy bag about 2-3” from the opening & I pour the water straight into my Ostomy bad from the Spring/Distilled 16oz Water Bottle (not a Jug!). Then I close my Ostomy bag Opening, and I swish around the water by gently squeezing the bag or softly pushing on the front and back of my Ostomy bag. I just swish the water back & forth GENTLY, until I’m satisfied that the waste has come loose from the sides, from the Stoma, etc..I then get a plastic triangle container (the hospital Ostomy Team+Nurses used it to empty my Ostomy - So You can ask if You can send 1 home with whomever visits You, and then take 1 w/You when You are discharged, so You will have at least 2 - they aren’t something You can buy at a grocery store. you can use whatever plastic container You want, but these are the perfect height/depth & have numbers so You can monitor Uour output) & holding onto the Ostomy bag’s opening +Squeezing it slightly so the opening remains open. I pour the water out of the Ostomy bag into the Plastic container. It’s also a good idea to put a little toilet paper in the bottom of the container to keep the water from splashing back up onto You. I repeat this process 1-3 times (emptying out the container each time) until I’m satisfied that my Ostomy Bag and/or Stoma are clean enough. This process is what I initially bought the blue bottles for, thinking that I could fill the blue bottle with water and ‘spray” the water into my Ostomy bag & clean it out. Note: by cleaning it out I mean a bag that has already been emptied of waste, and there is only a little waste adhering to the sides, creases, or Your Stoma, and NOT an Ostomy bag filled with waste. Which to my thinking would cause a big nasty mess with the amount of water the blue bottles hold.Overall these bottles are Great depending on what You plan to use them for, as far as a Colostomy, in my personal case they were the wrong tools for the job.

Little clumsy
The bottle is a little soft and doesn't hold pressure when squeezing. Could be my large hands. The bottles in the end. Work
