I was surprised as some others that it worked perfectly for me as soon as I plugged it in. Given the low price, small size, and low power (takes power from HDMI, doesn't need separate source), I was skeptical but thought for that price there was nothing to lose.Indeed it works, audio and video, without any glitches at all. I will summarize my setup:- Approx 8 m of CAT-5e cable between two RJ-45 female wall panels + two 1 m Ethernet patch cords from TX unit to wall panel and wall panel to RX unit (so with three cascaded segments of CAT-5e cable, about 10 m total, it works fine);- HDMI Splitter output to TX unit, RX unit to Optoma projector;- Using 1080p resolutionMy previous unit (larger, hotter, more expensive, external power supplies) lasted about 2 years, then ceased to work--it would get pretty hot, so no doubt that contributed to its limited lifetime. Hopefully this one will last longer owing to its lower power consumption.

The product is well made and did what i needed. Get it if you need one too.

Did not work. Returned product. Found a powered unit that worked great out of the box with the same cables I tried to use with this product. Definitely don’t buy

This was the second time I’ve ordered this and the set didn’t work this time. The first set I ordered 6 years ago worked great for many years. Could have been a bad set this time.

Works without power, nice

Great for the price. Over 100ft and only lost a bit of brightness. One issue I had was knowing to turn of HDCP on my PS4, and understanding that the TX has to come from the device and rx goes into the TV. Most likely, anyone who didn't get it to work could blame hee lack of instructions. It isn't your grandma's adaptor, but she probably doesn't need one.

The media could not be loaded. It is an excellent product, I honestly thought that it would not work, I was very surprised to see that it transferred audio and video and with an excellent quality.

6ft Cat6e line, couldn’t run my HDMI in the wall btc of the bulky connector. Ran this and worked beautifully.
