at first I was a little doubtful about ordering these Bose ear pads, they were cheaper than some I had seen on previous searches so I decided to give it ago not really knowing if they would even fit in reality?They arrived through my letterbox the following day and were quite east to fit with the little triangular blue plastic fitting tool, just be gentle as you push the rim into the earphone cup and make sure they are pushed under each of the few tiny lugs and you’ll find they fit perfectly, I was expecting a gel type filling in them but expect they are made of a light sponge as the originals so it will be interesting to see how long they last, my old ones wore the grey ‘skin-like’ ear pad out disappointingly within several months but I guess they are a delicate membrane so with these new pads I’ll take great care.The sound I get through them is simply amazing now, it’s a great buy and recommend them to anyone so if you have doubts..don’t worry because there is nobody more cautious about buying on-line than me and that’s from experience, it will be very interesting to see if they last longer than the original ear pads and I’m quite confident they will as the feel extremely comfortable and seem quality.

These are a really good replacement for the original earpads which disintegrated. Very easy to fit, good clear instructions.

The pads are well made and easy to install. Better than the other ones I have had from Amazon. Admittedly not as plush as the original but you will soon forget about that . The only issue I have had is that sometimes the dynamic of sound and music is slightly different and at times the noise cancellation is definitely less efficient and you will notice that only in busy places like trains. Other than that great product.

Slightly tricky to install, but looks and feels brand new. Very comfortable on the ears and sound doesn’t leak much.

Easy to fit and comfortable to wear

I am impressed with the quality of the earpads - they are comfortable, look good, and were easy to install.I have however noticed quite a reduction in the effectiveness of the noise cancellation hence only three stars for this review. I note from other reviews that the noise cancellation will be affected if the earpads are fitted incorrectly, hence I have checked several times to make sure mine are attached correctly.The material where the earpads attach to the headphones feels like cardboard whereas the Bose originals have a thick rubber lining. These are a decent enough replacement for the price, but if you need full noise cancellation I would suggest looking elsewhere
