Lee OskarHarmonica Harmonic Minor C

This harmonica is excellent.All holes and reeds work great.A typical Lee Oskar product :10-hole diatonic plastic combed harmonica,harmonic Cm,can make people melancholy when you breathe the right songs into it.But beware : If you are a beginner with minor harmonicas,I would suggest you try a Dm-natural and/or an Am-harmonic first,then with the time you will know what key to buy for the minor song you want to play.For my favorite minor songs,I don't think Cm is very much in use,but a few minor songs will sound exceptional when played with Cm,even though the song may not be in Cm ( my personal opinion only).Of 32 Lee Oskar diatonics I have,31 are "excellent",one is "good or very good".Everything changes with the time,but for now I think Lee Oskar harmonica is still a safe buy.By the way,I've got 11 Hohner harmonicas so far_chromatic,tremolo,diatonic,octave-tuned_and I'd say "excellent" to 6 of them,2 are "good or very good",and 3 are just "OK to play".But in all fairness,Hohner covers a wide range of product (Lee Oskar specializes in diatonic harmonicas plus accessories) so the chance for troubles is higher with some product lines of Hohner.Just be careful (read reviews,ask your friends...)before a buy.Good luck.

Love the sound of playing in a minor key. This harmonica plays and sounds great.

Some of the notes have a high pitch squeal, which I wouldn't expect with a harmonica this expensive, but it does sound nice when those squeaks don't happen.

Dissatisfied, I have bought a lee Oskar harmonica previous to this one and I had no complaints but this one had a small dent, next to my thumb, you can see in the pic I added and their was nothing in the box except harmonica, was no paper showing other products from Lee Oskar, seems to be used, or slightly damaged at the least, also not happy with the way the harmonica plays on the 7,8,9 and 10 holes! Not sure I’ll chance another

My wife enjoys it, but she's looking for a bigger one with more notes 24 hole vs 10 holes. she like it though.
