The media could not be loaded. Definitely accurate and the best thermometer I have ever used. Most the negative reviews were because I don't think directions were followed. Make sure to keep it between .3 and 1.2 inches away from your head and measure directly between your eyebrows not above or anywhere else and you'll get accurate results every time!Seriously I almost feel like there was a bad batch or the bad reviews are coming from maybe one bad batch of thermometers that were made or competitors and maybe some people really are having a hard time with them but it's literally the easiest thermometer I've ever used and definitely the quickest.Even with my toddler thrashing around and jumping I can get an accurate read on her temperature and she can even take her own temperature. It's literally the easiest best thing ever created. If I had had this when my little one was just a little bit smaller I could have avoided the rectal thermometers completely!Like seriously y'all don't listen to the other reviews and give it a try and if you end up with a bad one just return it but I promise you we bought like four or five and I've been amazing

This IR thermometer is very easy to use. It gives accurate results in only a couple of seconds. Before this thermometer, it was very difficult to take the temperature of my 1-year-old daughter. It has made my life easier.

I really like this product as it is very accurate as it's product description states. As a Safety Professional I have very high standards and cost usually isn't a deterrent when I purchase any Safety product; however, the price for this Temperature reader is very affordable, as the last one I purchased for my last project was at least 3x more expensive and not accurate at all. I would highly recommend this product for family and friends, or like me, to keep your office and onsite personnel feeling confident that their reading is accurate and don't have a temperature. Makes checking everyone’s temperature 10x easier. Just press the button and within seconds you’ll have your temperature displayed. Good quality and battery life has been lasting pretty long so far haven’t need to put in new ones yet

This gauge is tricky to use. Sometimes it gives a reading and other times it doesn’t. Mine won’t indicate “scan” signaling is it ready to take a reading. The beeping sound to indicate the temperature is ready to read is erratic. I use it for my every screening to get a general idea of my temp. If you need a very accurate reading, this isn’t for you. It was convenient to buy this on Amazon but I’d go to a medical supply store for higher quality.

In order to monitor our patients' vital signs and to check on our own temperatures, we just purchased this thermometer after trying out 2 other options in our office. We initially relied on a digital oral thermometer with individual plastic covers which works fine, but it is cumbersome and takes a relatively long time to show the numbers. We felt we could do better with "social" and medical distancing and purchased an infrared thermometer "gun". This one looked great, took a little time to decipher the instructions on how to switch between centigrade and Fahrenheit, but it worked well enough. It did seem to be made to be sold based on quantity and not quality. This latest thermometer is sleek, easy to set up, easy to use, reads the temperatures quickly and feels very solid. We look forward to using this for many years, Covid and beyond!
